This little restaurant is a gem. Fantastic food, great drink seletions, no wait, quality bartenders and servers. I've stayed in many downtown hotels in prominent cities and their restaurants are usually a bit lack luster, limited hours, so-so quality food. But this place was great and we ended up eating here once each for happy hour, breakfast, and twice for late night. Food was typical hotel food, nothing too fancy, but the brisket tacos were pretty good! Stayed here in Jan, and man, was it cold in the restaurant! The glass windows behind the bar just radiate the cold into the space. Also our server was kind of slow and not very attentive.
I’m not usually a fan of hotel bars or hotel bar food, but tonight I was a bit hungry and didn’t want to walk far. We ordered the dry rub wings… oh holy night! The wings rank in my top five best of all time! They are seasoned well and cooked to perfection with no slimy wing issues. Our waiter/bartender was David - so observant and courteous! I would eat these wings again!
