Frothy monkey is a great spot to enjoy some coffee and work. We ordered coffee to go and the service was very fast. Parking was limited but there was street parking.

i went to do some work, had a latte and the pepper soup. the latte was great but the soup had so much cumin i could smell it when the server brought it out, i couldnt eat it. the service was pleasant. hard to find parking

I guess this spot isn't used to serving people of color. I was completely ignored while all of the white folks got served. I guess I was an oddity. It's 2024 and nothing has changed. I guess I didn't get the message this place isn't for you. The chicken in my dish was over cooked. The dish would have been scrumptious had the breast been cooked correctly. The atmosphere was good except for me not being welcomed. Black folks don't expect much. Spend your dollar elsewhere or put on white face. PERIODT!!!! The amount of time I waited for the bill I literally could have walked out no one would have noticed

The food was really good! The drinks and food were original and unique. I had a hair cooked into my food, which they definitely took care of, so I appreciated that. One of the servers was just super rude though and he still charged me for something I didn't order. He said nothing when I brought it to his attention, so I just paid for it and moved on.

Not welcoming to those looking to drink some coffee and work on a laptop on a not-so-busy weekday. Not only were they out of cold brew but despite being one of three parties in the whole restaurant the servers made me feel so unwelcome trying to find a table to work from that I ended up leaving after they rolled their eyes at me. Sadly won't be returning!
Let me start with a five-star review for their coffee. Good flavors and seasonal options, not too sweet, their espressos are good.The food? Serious meh. I was so bummed because I visited Frothy Monkey years ago and loved it and was so excited to come back. I think they should focus on coffee and pastries.

This place gets more and more disappointing. The food is meh. The vibe is pretentious. And it's just not really what I want it to be. It's also loud and I feel like I'm being corralled in the seating area. I don't like the business model of being forced to be waited on, I'd rather get my own food and drink from a counter or have a number on my table. I think they're trying to do too much and it would be better if they simplified to coffee, cocktails, and bagels and pastries. There were a lot of wait staff, some better than others, but only one barista. And kind of funny to be forced to be waited on but suggested to go check out at the register at the end of the meal...like, I would have loved to have ordered and pay at the register initially! I just wished they were more of a coffee shop than a restaurant. So it's a no for me beyond a grab and go situation.
