Great atmosphere. Great food. Pastas were all on point. The fig salad was delicious. Zach is a badass great server.

It's hard to find something to complain about here. My wife and I had a great time on date night going to Geist. It's a really cool setting in a converted blacksmith, where they pay homage with horse artwork. I can't say enough about the food. You MUST try the rolls. I still dream about them. I ordered the risotto and it did not disappoint. My wife ordered the salmon and barely saved me a bite to try. Highly recommend and would also advise to make a reservation. We used open table.

Dinner was amazing! We ordered the whipped feta & fig salad for starters, and the cavatelli and the salmon for our entrees. Everything was delicious, and our server Zach was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to come back again!!

Geist was good. We loved the ambiance of the dining room and the bar was a really cool look at well. Service was great and it was a nice date night spot. Food was just alright though. Hate to say it, but the bread was the absolute best part. Entree's were OK, good not great. But the bread was incredible... I'd go back for that.

We dined at 6:30pm on a Monday. There were only 2-3 other tables occupied. For starters we had the cheese board and bread. Both were very good. The table bread could easily be addictive with with the sweet butter. Our server did not have any personal recommendations when asked. "Its all good" was the response. In our party of three, two had the Tagliatelle and one had the Cavatelli. The Tagliatelle pasta was nicely al dente but the bolognese was overly salty.

Such a cool space! Zack took care of us and provided excellent service. Food and drinks were amazing, can't wait to visit again next time I'm in town!

Food and service and ambiance were amazing, but very disappointed that the restaurant would allow a family with twin 1 year olds dine on a Sat night. We spent $200 and listened to babies scream. That was not ok. It is very appropriate for restaurants of this sort to have policies about children-/at least for weekend dinners.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Atmosphere is great. Our server was fantastic. This was our favorite part of my daughter's 21st birthday weekend in Nashville. We will go to Geist every time we visit Nashville.

They taxed our entire bill at 24%. Ridiculous. When asked they simply said it’s not their fault.

We dined at Geist this past weekend. Food was good. Steaks were great but needed more seasoning. The chicken was very good - juicy and tender. Service from our wait staff was attentive. The covered patio was freezing. Even with gas heaters and table blankets these were insufficient to ward off the numbing cold. Our biggest gripe was front of house service. We had a reservation for 7pm. We arrived on time at 7pm but eventually were seated at 7:50. The table before had already finished their meal when we arrived but the front of house did nothing to manage the situation.I’m sure management can do better!

We visited Geist for the first time last night, and we couldn't be more impressed with the excellent food, service and ambience. Definitely a place that we will visit often. We had an emergency at the restaurant with my husband passing out after dinner. I cannot say enough about how attentive, and helpful our waitress and all the staff were during that time.

Went here for my daughter's 16th birthday. Love the atmosphere and decor at Geist. It is quite beautiful and unique inside. Our service was good and starters were delish. The bread is to die for. We also had a cheese board that we al enjoyed. My husband had short ribs which were great. My daughter had a pasta dish that was ok. I ordered a lobster risotto that was so overly salted that I couldn't eat it. And, there wasn't much lobster in it. They were kind and gave my daughter a birthday dessert with a candle for our celebration, which was a nice touch. I would give it another try.

Good. Not great. Everything was just fine. For the price, I wouldn't go again. Staff was very nice. Food was, as I said, good. Not great. Did not live up to the hype. Atmosphere was not as romantic as expected. We were seated outside which felt like a cheap patio of a friends house to be perfectly honest. But the service was great. Just nothing else I'd call great.
