Laid back. Very casual and great music!
We had Sambosa veggie, kitfo and the beef ribs with a side of misir way. All of it was sooooo delicious!

I’ve been coming here for years literally, when it was the primary Ethiopian restaurant in town. I have seen a gradual decline. First, the portion sizes are small—have decreased. Second, the flavor is lacking. Third and most recently, they up charge you for traditional teff injera. Needless to say, they nickel and dime you now. The price is the most expensive Ethiopian restaurant in town, but the quality does NOT match the price! It’s pitiful.
There are much better options in town with great portion sizes, savory and flavorful with authentic injera at no up charge.
I CANNOT recommend this restaurant any longer. I hope they do better in the future. There’s a variety of Ethiopian restaurants now to choose from.
Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere.

I’ve been going this places for years and it’s a hit or miss on the awaze tips. If you go when they first open they are good because they haven’t been sitting there and dried out. But to day is the worst they have been I will not be getting them anymore that’s a shame you serve that to anyone. Especially the price they charge 23$ don’t get the awaze tips the flavor is good but it’s dry.

Best Ethiopian food in Nashville! Great selection with allergy friendly options and the special Ethiopian coffee is delicious if you like black coffee. Very calm and pleasant atmosphere as well.

The perfect dining experience imo. Delicious food (we leaned hard on the vegetarian dishes plus the chicken legs… they’re the best), great service, and you get to eat with your hands. So lucky to live close to this place.

As someone that loves Ethiopian food I was so disappointed. I ordered Awaze Tibs which came with veggies and it was barely one spoon of chick peas and another of lentils.
The injera was dry and not spongy. Not authentic.

So glad we decided to try this out! I had heard about Ethiopian food and thought I would like it, and I was not disappointed! I heard it was very spicy, which scared me a little, but our hostess explained all the menu options to us and said they can customize the spice level! Excellent food and excellent service! Very friendly and inviting! Definitely recommend!

Good food and experience, slow service though. Get ready to eat with your hands (no fork)

Ethiopian food is delicious, packed full of flavor and spices! Coming to this restaurant makes you feel right at home with the intimate and comfortable dining room. The people who work here are extremely pleasant and warm. The only thing is they don't serve any alcohol but you are encouraged to bring any drinks from the outside and they will happily bring you wine glasses to enjoy your drinks! 10/10 would recommend this to anyone who wants a pleasant experience with delicious food
