My friend and I wanted to order drinks and this was said to us in the least polite way as possible “you need to sit outside and order from there no pets inside”
It caught me off guard and I didn’t say anything and just sat outside . Mind you it was cold . We ordered food and drinks from the outdoor seating and the food was meh 🫤 the drinks just okay. Needless to say it left a bad taste in my mouth from start to finish. The way how this entire interaction panned out did not make me or my friend feel welcome but we still wanted to support the community bar.
It took forever to get more drinks although a slow night. No events no nothing. Needless to say if me or my dog aren’t welcome . There’s other friendly dog and lgbt spaces

Golden Pony is a total vibe! The atmosphere is incredible! It’s a great place for private event or a signature aqua Fresca with friends! Seth and Macy are incredible bar tenders and the owners care about your experience!

Place is a total vibe. Took my mom when she was here in town. Met the owners who were so cool, my friend who’s a realtor chatted with the female co-owner who showed her one of the rooms where a small party can be held privately. However the bartenders put a really bad taste in our mouths and we wouldn’t want to go back if they are there. Seth, Macy and from what I was told a new bartender Landon was working the Friday night that we went. We were there for a couple hours drinking, vibing and having a good time. The first thing is the bartenders kept cashing us out inside of leaving our tabs opened like we mentioned the first time. I had my own ticket and my friend had her own. I cashed out twice and tipped both times as well as my friend we tipped both times! Over tipped actually. Well Macy who was off the clock was the other side of the bar ear hustling, Seth whispers something in Landon’s ear and Landon comes up to my friend whose last bill was like $109 and asked her if she can tip 35%! She told him she will not be tipping again due to overtipping her last TWO bills that they cashed out. Macy again trying to listen over music comes to me and say “you said you never tip, you didn’t mean here right?!” I quickly let her know that I did not say that and what I said was we always tip. I’m a bartender so I know the importance of tipping. Seth stated they expect big tips on bills that large but 35%!! First rule is NEVER ask a customer to tip! That’s so unprofessional! This story is long but the bartenders and that type of behavior will run people away! Great owners but they should watch the company they keep!

This place is such a vibe and has amazing cocktails! Our bartender Landon was excellent, he suggested some uniquely crafted cocktails (most of which were his own creations) that were so delicious! A true gem for East Nashville and a must visit establishment.

10 of us girls were staying nearby and decided to try this place - so glad we did! We went back every night for the next 3 nights! The service was excellent!! The bartenders were amazing! The drinks and food were so good! Highly recommend!!

Couple of friends talked the place up so we went on a visit to check the place out. The patio area is very cool with plenty of space. The night we went there was a pretty large party; however, they had their own section and the bar still had a ton of space. Also did enjoy that they had multiple booths that could accommodate larger groups of 6 to 8. I'm pretty basic and kept to beers; however, they had a fun 6 shots for $20 special that was a hit. All in all I would certainly recommend coming here if you mind yourself in East Nashville.
