We had a great Birthday dinner at The Halls Catch. Our server Rafael was great! He was so kind, helpful and very knowledgeable about the food on the menu. We had lobster bites for our appetizer, Lobster rolls and a baked banana for dessert. My mocktail was very good. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

The bartenders and staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and provided exceptional service every time Iโ€™ve been there. The only issue was that the dessert menu is confusingly organized: cognac and dessert wine are listed separately on the right, while alcoholic desserts are mixed into the regular dessert section on the left and only marked with a small asterisk. That makes it too easy to miss that some items contain alcohol, so the menu should be labeled more clearly for customers with alcohol restrictions. All staff are great. The menu is the issue.

We ate here a few days ago. Food was very good for the most part and our waitress was very attentive. Things we didnโ€™t like: the full presentation of the menu with steak. It felt like it took forever to just place the order that we already knew what we wanted. There was also another waitress a few tables down that spoke so loudly to her table that it was very disturbing and somewhat ruined the atmosphere. The thing that bothered us the most, though, was the amount of extra staff moving about the dining room. It was almost anxiety provoking. We just wanted to sit and enjoy our experience but there was ALWAYS someone moving around (not other waiters). They came and re-set tables right next to us (fanning table cloths) and then they would come back and set the same table again in a different way. They did this several times across the restaurant. It was late when we left so setting the table again was useless as no one was going to be seated there again that evening. It was honestly very annoying and somewhat ruined the experience of such a fine dining experience.

We'd wanted to go to Hall's for a long time, & our 23rd anniversary seemed like as good a time as ever. Obviously, I made a reservation. We walked in, we're congratulated on our anniversary, and sat immediately. We ordered drinks & the seafood tower. We let our waitress know we wanted to pace everything out, & she helped us take our time. The seafood tower was great. I love cold lobster & hot butter. We split the Hall's Chopped salad, my wife said it was the best salad she's ever had. One of the managers also brought us some celebratory champagne, I always love those touches. For the main we ordered the 16oz Dry Aged Ribeye, medium rare. Came out perfect. Our waitress let us know about half orders of sides, so we tried a few. Corn skillet, risotto, sweet & sour collard greens, and onion rings. They were all really great. The risotto was a little underseasoned. The remoulade for the onion rings was so good. Best collard greens I've ever had. They sent us home with the whiskey bread pudding. We ate some when we got home and there is no sweeter way to fall into a food coma. 5 star dinner

Iโ€™ve been a frequent customer at Halls in Charleston and Iโ€™ve only had good things to say. The experience I had at the halls in Nashville was the worst service Iโ€™ve ever had. It took a good 40 mins for a waiter to come over for a drink order, I had to ask for bread plates. Once we ordered entrees it took almost an hour to arrive at the table.

Had an outstanding experience at Halls Chophouse. I had the dry-aged ribeye Oscar style, lobster and bacon mac & cheese, loaded baked potato, and a Halls Old Fashioned. Every single item was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly with incredible flavor, and the sides were just as impressive.

The atmosphere was upscale and welcoming, the service was top-tier from start to finish, and the wine list was extensive, although definitely on the expensive side. Overall, everything felt polished and intentional.

Itโ€™s not cheap: about $450 for 3 people: but honestly, it was perfection from every angle and absolutely worth the experience.

The service was perfection, we had a reservation and arrived early, we were able to sit in the bar area comfortable and well taken care of until it was time to be seated. Although they had sold out of prime rib, the ribeye was a wonderful choice and the wait staff was excellent. We would definitely recommend.
