I recently moved into the area, and was craving some seafood - Hook's DID NOT disappoint me! The representative that took my order was polite, friendly, and patient as we talked through the menu options and I decided on my meal.The food was HOT and READY as soon as I arrived for pickup, and the associate reviewed my order himself to ensure everything was correct! A Perfect 10! Best meal I've had all year. Everything at Hook's is perfection, from the staff to the mixtape playing while I achieved Nirvana. Atmosphere is clean, bright and kind of a modern diner feel. Having lived on the East coast for 27 yrs, was wondering if I'd ever find seafood in Nash comparable..I found it! If you love seafood done right, please do yourself a favor & eat here. Ordered a fried shrimp basket. 10 jumbo shrimp, deep fried to perfection....
We were driving home to Texas. My wife grew up on the Texas Coast and she knows her seafood. Her crabcakes were excellent and they were REAL crab meat. My fried shrimp was regular seasoned. They were excellent. Fries were hot and fresh. If we come thru Nashville again, this is a place we would definently visit again. Very impressed with the quality of the food and service.
