This Kroger, which sits on the corner of 21st and Blair in Hillsboro is a Millennials dream. Why you ask? Well, all they have is the small, two-basket carts...and they have plenty of them, which makes my heart beyond happy! Legit all I want in life is more of those small double decker carts! This Kroger is not a norm for me, but when I am in the area and need a few things, I enjoy swinging through. Given its location, this Kroger is a bit smaller than your standard Kroger locations around the city, so that means that choices are limited here. They still offer the same sections, but in limited stock and selection. This location is 1.5 stories, and I say that instead of a full 2-stories as the up stairs only houses the pharmacy and few personal care aisles. The store itself is a solid Kroger and gets the job done when needed. Service can be a little hit and miss, which is why I couldn't go higher than 4 stars. Overall, I love me some Kroger, and little carts, so when in Hillsboro, you can find me here!

Store is ok but the sushi guy is incredible! So nice and makes delicious sushi. I go just for him. My five stars are for sushi

We had a company team building activity at a space where there weren't many food options, so we decided to order some food from Kroger to pick up on the way. On the website, I had to place my pickup grocery order (wine, beer, chips, plates, etc) and my deli platters (sandwiches, cheese platters, chicken tenders) in two separate places. Fine, whatever.I called to confirm they had both of my orders. They told me they couldn't see it in the system until the day of. When I called back in the morning, the staff member I talked with was very helpful and actually walked over to the deli counter to confirm my order was there for later when he couldn't see it on his own system. The experience I had when I arrived at the store for pickup was the total opposite. The woman who was in charge of pickup was kinda mean and hard to understand. We tried to explain that we were Ubering and also had a deli order to pickup. She made us walk all the way around to the back to the pickup area, and then snapped at us that she couldn't bring our food out until our car was there and was pushing us to call our Uber immediately- even though we explained we had to get our deli order separately. The deli people weren't much warmer, and yelled to us that we'd need to get a cart ready. We had trouble finding a big cart. The pickup process was a bit chaotic. We had to pay for our deli items in the normal checkout line, and then we went back to the pickup area. The staff made it as hard as possible. She took her time, made us check in on the app instead of just marking us or letting us call? Seemed to have trouble scanning my ID. The whole process was just messy overall. I could understand her needing to follow procedures, but just overall customer service was not great. She seemed really grumpy and didn't want to really listen to us. I know we were a bit of a pain because we didn't have a car, but we were visiting for a company retreat and didn't have another option. Lol. Honestly, I wouldn't go for this option again, definitely not at this store anyway. I imagine that the staff probably doesn't have the rosiest jobs or the best pay, but it was not a pleasant customer experience. On the bright side, everyone was pretty happy with the food.

Always busy with friendly staff. The location is ideal. I'm not a fan of the elevator to get pharmacy goods, but it's understandable with the limited space in this building.

Came to Nashville on a trip. Had to go to Kroger for a couple of items. I will say thank GOD that I never have step foot into a Kroger again because the customer service was rude beyond belief. Tried getting cash back on a self service and the employees said sorry not sorry essentially. Thank god I live in TX and I can shop at HEB. #HEB4LIFE

To start off, I would give this Kroger 0 STARS IF YELP WOULD LET ME. I need somebody from Kroger Corporate(or ANYBODY from Kroger for that matter) to read this story that I went through today. Before I begin, let me point out I tried talking to 3 employees and they did NOTHING about this disgusting situation. Kroger, PLEASE respond to me and reach out to me over this because my physical health was at risk today over this situation, and none of your employees did anything about it, lied to me that they were going to take care of it, then they went back to "working" (working meaning joking and laughing and having conversations with one another). This is NOT OK. KROGER, PLEASE RESPOND AND REACH OUT TO ME THIS IS DISGUSTING AND DISRESPECTFUL, I HAVE CANCER FOR GOODNESS SAKES.Today, I went to the grocery store, and the closest grocery store is Kroger. There are only 4 handicap parking spaces... and ALL of them were taking by people who did not have a handicap placard, sticker, etc. There was even one man just sitting on his phone... I have a handicap sticker because cancer and the chemotherapy I'm on makes my heart rate skyrocket when I walk long distances and in most instances, makes me sick, nauseous, etc. But that doesn't stop me from trying to do normal adult things before transplant where I won't be able to do ANYTHING for a very long time.I actually walked up to the guy who was in a handicapped spot (again with no sticker or placard) who was about my age and I said "Sir, do you mind moving spaces, this parking lot is packed and I have cancer and have a handicap sticker AND every other handicap spot is taken up by people who also don't have a handicap sticker."His rude respond was "I'm probably going to be here for another 10 minutes because my girlfriend who is 3 months pregnant can't walk far either." I have never yelled at anybody else, but this was the first time I did.YOU TOOK A HANDICAP SPOT IN A FULL PARKING LOT SO THAT YOUR GIRLFRIEND WHO IS ONLY 3 MONTHS PREGNANT CAN GO SHOPPING? AND I JUST F****** TOLD YOU I HAVE CANCER??He completely ignored me and told me I should either wait until his girlfriend returns or drive around the parking lot to wait for somebody else to leave.ARE YOU KIDDING ME??I almost wanted to take pictures of ALL the license plates that were parked in all 4 handicapped parking spaces and report them because that's WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS.Thanks to that jerk and the 4 others who thought they were entitled to park in those spots, I ended up driving around the lot for 10 minutes waiting for a spot just end up getting the farthest one there was. My heart rate went through the roof and I was so nauseous the entire time I was grocery shopping. After 20 minutes of shopping, I come back to find the SAME JERK still parked playing games on his phone, and I really wanted to call/cuss him out, AND the other 4 handicap spots of the people who weren't handicapped where still there.I do apologize for this rant, but this is the first time where I've seen people be so entitled and not care about people that ACTUALLY need those spots so that they can run their errands SAFELY for their HEALTH.That jerk who thought his newly pregnant girlfriend was more important then somebody with CANCER made me lose faith humanity today... truly... (not to mention, I see all the time that many celebrities Park in these spots too because their famous, a LOT of them *cough cough Kardashians, VS models, etc*)Again, I sincerely apologize for ranting about this, but I felt like I needed to speak on this. I have been and still am so hurt and angry that this happened.PLEASE, do NOT park in a handicap spot for ANY reason unless it's an emergency or you have a handicap sticker or some kind of proof... its not safe for us who need those spots to do the things we need to do SAFELY.If you read this until the very end, thank you for taking the time to read this. I do apologize once again for ranting and for this being so long (I suffer from anxiety and guilt so

My daughter bought steaks July 21 she is a college student. Got them home went to cook them July 23 and they smelled bad and weren’t good . Instead of driving out to Green hill Tn she went .04 tenths of a mile by her house to show managerJersem and ask for new ones . I know it’s not a big deal money amount wise but for college student it is . And she’s been a fan of Kroger . Well the manager Jersem said take it all the way back to one she bought it at as she was not going to do anything about it . She said perishables were a choice of manager how it was handled . And I honestly couldn’t believe that’s there’s policy when my daughter told me so I called the manager Jersem personally and she confirm what my daughter had said .What a bad way to treat the younger generation . I pray Kroger head person reads this , someone in corporate must care . She just wanted a good steak to cook tonight nothing additional , only what she had paid for .No wonder the younger youth goes to Wallmart or Publix that would not happen there . Kroger management make this right !! She was treated poorly . I find it hard to believe Kroger policy is all perishable items can not be returned even if In Original packaging and before expired date , with receipt and it’s gone bad.Customer service needs to step up . Or post sign “ if you walk out door and food isn’t good even tho sell by date hasn’t come no returns “

I went to this Kroger because I had a steak that was black and smelled once I opened it. It was only the "sell by" date so I brought it to the store to show them. The person I spoke to was so mean and rude. She made me feel like an idiot and basically was like "too bad". So I said I won't be coming back here and her response was "not a problem". TERRIBLE customer service and I do not recommend. There are many other stores in Nashville that will show their customers respect.

Great store. Only drawback is they have 2 floors, but it's not a deal breaker.

Definitely a quick run in and go place or "city Kroger". It would be impossible to get all of the ingredients you need here bc it's so small and always out of everything. I would avoid using instacart or delivery here, because they will be out of all of the staples.

My wife and I bought a couple bottles of our favorite wine here. When we opening the first bottle an hour so later , it was very obvious the cork was dry and the wine had an off odor and taste. We went the following morning to exchange or refund and was very bluntly told they would do nothing. We spend at least $10,000 per year at Krogers and expect / deserve better treatment than we received. I fully understand the occasional "corked" bottle of wine, a first for me at Krogers, but to be told there is nothing they can do.... That is unacceptable . It is poor customer service. Time to take my $10 k elsewhere........

This location is horrible ! Customer service is horrible. Everytime I come here nobody can help me I've been here for over 20 min because the cashier's don't know what they're doing after saying something about the transaction the lady tells me "no I can't help you come back tomorrow" I am highly upset about the customer service I received from someone who's name tag says "TEAM LEADER" Jersen's customer service is horrible all I said was how long it will be because I have to work & she changed her tone start talking with her hands & told me she can't help me I tried to give this Kroger another chance BUT AGAIN HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I will be contacting corporate I'm over the poor treatment and I'm a regular customer please RE TRAIN THESE PEOPLE !!
