C'mon, $1.99 tacos in Nashville sounds like a typo nowadays, but it's legit at Las Americas. Not as refined as pricier options, but the flavor and portion size more than make up for it. This could be the best value in town for a quick bite. Love love love the pastor tacos (even though I think a little pineapple would absolutely put it over the top) and the fajita tacos. Their rice is also a standout!
Don't sleep on this one, I don't see how these prices...

A friend recently treated me to lunch and a new favorite for pupusas.
I had a steak Tostada and a mixed pupusa my friend had the mixed pupusa and the house special burrito. Everything was delicious and the beers were ice cold.
The service was excellent as well, we were well attended to.

This is more of a local spot for sure. If you are looking for more of an authentic Hispanic food experience this is a good place. Don't go in expecting a grand design. But, expect great service and food.
