It's a good place, but could be great with a bit more managerial oversight.

I would not call this a wine bar. Not much wine. Great cheese board though.

First of all BRING CASH! Because if you give them your card they will not ask you if you want to open a tab. They’ll just automatically open a tab for you. I understand it was my fault for not closing my tab at the end of the night but I didn’t want a tab in the first place for my 2 glasses of wine that were $11 each and then they gave themselves a $5 tip. I would not have order a second glass of wine if I just had a normal transaction without opening a tab. The place being a winery/bar, I was hoping for a good selection of wine. My first order was a merlot and they told me they didn’t have any. My friend ordered a mix drink and she didn’t like the taste so she asked if she could get some grenadine added into it and they told her that they don’t have grenadine. It was just strange that these 2 common things they didn’t have.

Hosted an event here it was absolutely amazing. They made things so easy to coordinate and were very responsive. The price per person was so reasonable for our budget and took great care of us and our guests. 100%

Not the greatest food but the drinks, service, and music was "on point"

The food was definitely better than most bar food. Loved the stuffed mushrooms! The goat cheese dip was so good. Wish music choice was better.Vegetarian options: A lot of the menu was vegetarian friendly!

I'm conflicted. I am a frequent Love & Exile goer, but one of the bartenders has ruined it for me. I went on a Friday, and the bartender made a rude comment towards me, which I addressed on Saturday. I told him he was mean to me and he said "What do you mean? I liked your jumpsuit, and then I told my coworker that you had a nice butt." He decided to tell me this when my guy friend and my friend's boyfriend had left the table. Then, he told my friend that he made the drinks strong, and she said he could pay for her uber home, to which he said "I'll drive you home" and asked her where she lived. He also assumed that my friends and I were really young, making weird comments about how we were turning 21. Besides these uncomfortable experiences, I love this place. It's got great energy and wonderful drinks. I hope this guy gets his shit together lol. I really don't think he meant any malice by these comments, and rather just thought we were on the same page with joking around.

Enjoyed a "mini tasting," loved Rosie's Rose^ (missed seeing Rosie though ?) and the Dreamer (?) - a bold red. Such a great bartender and fun outside atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Tried this place on a rainy Sunday and so glad we did. It was not very busy yet and we were able to immediately order drinks and food, which were absolutely delicious. I recommend the hummus! The bartender was very knowledgeable and helped us with our drink order. Also, this place has a great atmosphere and is very cute for a girls day, which is exactly what we were looking for!

This is prob a top favorite bar in east Nashville for me. I haven't been since I first visit, but you won't be disappointed. Drinks are really good and the overall decor and ambiance of the place is so sultry and pleasing. Service was prompt and the drinks were superb. I highly recommend if you're in the area

We hadn't ever heard of this place, and went on a whim. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the cocktails, and the layout (indoor/outdoor, booths and tables, covered/uncovered, etc.) It was surprisingly quiet for such an appealing location. The only problem? The music that was playing. I don't want to eat a meal listening to n-word this, f-word that, b*h that, etc. I'm not sure if an employee picked a specific playlist, or what, but that was a real turnoff, and it shouldn't be playing in a restaurant. (I probably sound like Grandpa Prude, and I'm not. But there's music suitable for a restaurant, and music suitable for a slammin' club.)

Somehow this place is still a hidden gem, and as much as I would like to keep it that way it deserves to be the hot spot it should. Good food, great staff, super cool chill vibes.

First time checking this place out, went right when they opened. Nice and quiet, few people seemed to be hanging there working from their computer. There was music playing but it was just kinda background noise, would of been easy to socialize in this place. The environment itself was well decorated and had some cool murals on the walls. I got their red wine, was alright- but the oysters I ordered were absolutely fantastic! And it was half off due to happy hour. The bartender was great, very attentive. The only thing I will note is the bar had a lot of fruit flies which I know is common but I ate outside and not at the bar due to that! Will be back for sure
