Lovely setting although a bit dark. Music great. Toilets too dark and not the best but the Barman was a Legend, very friendly, hospitable and helpful. Would recommend.

Love and Exile Bar is a cute spot in East Nashville with a lively atmosphere. It is a favorite spot in all of Nashville for amazing food and even better service. The patio garden area is a cute and relaxed spot, with outdoor covered and uncovered patios. The bar has a nice bistro like feel, with super comfy couches and nice music in the background. The happy hour offers great deals, including $5 glasses of wine. For food, the whipped goat cheese is a clear standout, served with blueberry compote and hot honey. The bruschetta has great flavor with thinner crostini slices. The meatballs are generously sized. Other menu items include a BLT with shrimp, a Flatbread, and a frozen espresso martini. Drinks are delicious, with options like a strawberry cocktail with a smokey mezcal and a custom cocktail. Service is awesome and attentive, though the bar can be a little slow when busy. The food comes out fairly quickly. Love and Exile is a fantastic location for a quick stop before a concert or a night out.
