WOW! If you are close, stop by! Yes the wait can be long - up to 40 minutes, but there is a gift shop with beverages on premise so there is plenty to do while you wait for the text that your table is ready. We had the fresh biscuits, fried chicken, and fried catfish sandwich. All were excellent. The service was amazing even though the place was packed. We did not wait long for our drink order, or food order. Our food came out hot, fresh and timely.
Found this place based on a guide to the Natchez Trace Parkway. It was so amazing. Everything was hot and fresh. Also, the portions were big. I thought the catfish and fried green tomatoes were excellent.
My wife and I ate here on Sunday night around 6:00 pm. We were seated immediately! Our server brought out biscuits and jelly, they are delicious! \n\nI had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and cheese grits! My wife has the country fried steak with cream corn and hashbrown casserole. Both were delicious! \n\nThe fried chicken is listed as a local favorite on the menu, and it was very good.
