This is well known in the Nashville area. Had lunch there, no wait as we were there about 11:30 am. About an hour later, there was a wait.. but well worth it. It's a place you just need to go to to experience how it was back in t he 50's on Hwy 100! Staff was awesome, food fantastic!
Life changing biscuits! Butter abound, free, plus jams. The mighty Maria took care of us like we're family. They offer red eye gravy. If you've never tried, this is your chance...it's unique.
WOW! If you are close, stop by! Yes the wait can be long - up to 40 minutes, but there is a gift shop with beverages on premise so there is plenty to do while you wait for the text that your table is ready. We had the fresh biscuits, fried chicken, and fried catfish sandwich. All were excellent. The service was amazing even though the place was packed. We did not wait long for our drink order, or food order. Our food came out hot, fresh and timely.
