This place is by far the best meat and three around hands down! I have tried many places over the years and nothing compares to Dandgere's Cafe. I have been going there for 15 years, I used to work nearby and it was my favorite treat. I don't work nearby anymore and I long for there food as nothing close to where I work now even compares. Mr. Dan and all employees over the years have always been awesome!!!

We ate here for lunch on a Monday. We ordered fried chicken, jambalaya and Salisbury steak. Each came with 2 sides. Everything was absolutely delicious. Best green beans I have ever eaten. Each meal was under $10. The servers were all extremely friendly. The ambiance is authentic southern cafe. I would definitely go back if we stayed in town longer since menu changes daily. Oh yeah- Souvenir T-shirts are only $8.00.

Besides great service, and good fast food, they offer inside dining which is clean and comfortable. I'll be back!

Fried chicken, country corn, cole slaw and roll were excellent! I will be back next time in Nashville.
