I love visiting Mercado in WeHo when I am working in Nashville. The vibe is great and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. We dined outside on the patio and it was great. The food was fresh and authentic and everything we tried was excellent.

Great food and great drinks. The queso and the brisket are both amazing. There are art galleries nesr by you can walk to after having a few drinks.

Finally, one more really good restaurant in Wedgewood-Houston. We should have arrived early to enjoy drinks on the rooftop with a great view of downtown. Everything we are tasted fabulous and the drinks were fantastic also.

The food was absolutely delicious, very fair price for the caliber of food served. Our server, Matt, provided excellent service. The drinks were also great.

This isn’t real Tex-Mex. Ratings are inflated because they give free churros with a 5-star review. Salsa is watery and more like hot sauce. Guac was more of a hummus texture. Thick sour cream on everything and gringo sensibilities all around. What’s worse was the thin coffee straws for the margs and the double layered floppy, soggy corn tortillas. Whoever made the menu is definitely not Tejano. If you want a top-notch fine dining experience with some decent Latin inspired food, great service, a gorgeous rooftop, and expensive, high quality cocktails, this is your place. Just don’t call it Tex-Mex. You got my hopes up. I’ll be at Torchy’s.
