Being PR, I had the Oxtails first on three pieces with no meat, paid $8.00 for three more pieces and man they were spicy (thought I was eating Jamaican food) had to pay for plantains. Basically &17.99 for three half pieces of oxtails with rice, $8.99 for three mor pieces of Oxtails and $2.69 for three small pieces of plantains, with a processing fee and taxes $35.45…. Not worth it for the value, felt that I was being played by the girl that was serving me the food. So if you want any to eat an expensive Lunch that you will gamble on the taste take the shot.

I had the grilled chicken mofongo, he got the rice & bean plate with seasoned chicken, and we shared some tostones. We love Puerto Rico and have been several times and this food was pretty typical of what you get there!

My friend and I decided to stop a Mofongo cafe for lunch. He’s originally from the Miami area and has always talked about Mofongo so when I saw this cafe I was excited to take him.There was plenty of parking and seating and we were warmly greeted when we walked in. They had two lunch options, we could order from the menu or order their buffet style plate. We chose to do the buffet.Everything looked fresh and delicious. They offer three different styles of rice, different types of proteins, and a bunch of sides. They also have some unique beverages ranging from beer to house made fruit drinks.Our food was delicious and with each bite my friend said he was teleported back to all his favorite food spots in Miami. I enjoyed every bite as well and can’t wait to go back. Must haves: papas fritas, the cabbage salad and the white bean soup.

Horrible service, over $50.00 for 2 singles plates of mash plantain called "mangu" had a broken table shaking and getting the drink spilling and the waitress asked me to grab some napkin to clean it myself... definitely would never come back to that place...

Delicious Latin American food at a reasonable price. I usually go for the bar option, just because it fast and simple. Will definitely try some of their menu items. Their empanadas are very satisfying as well solid 4.4!
