Food was pretty good, especially the chicken. I was a bit disappointed in the portion size, particularly the chicken. For over $15 for chicken and two sides, I expected more than four bites of chicken. Might give it another chance, but I'm wary to go back.
Meat and three or two. One of the best country cooking in Nashville. Not easy to find but once you do, you are sure to take home some good eating once a week or month. My manager was visiting from Pittsburgh and I took him there about 4 years ago and he still remembers it and can't wait to get back to Nashville for some good eating!!!
The food wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. I understand the covid situation so we took it to go but I really could have used napkins and something other than a plastic fork to try to eat a smothered pork chop. I may try it again after the dine in scene is safe but with all the options for soul food in a two mile radius it will likely be a while.
