I took the waitresses recommendation on what to order I got five things to share. The description and what I actually got felt like it wasn’t the same thing. Also, they put a ton of sauce on 3 of the entrées that had strange flavors. It was a nice atmosphere and the service was great. I’ve eaten at restaurants like this before but not so much in Nashville I like to think I know what good food taste like and this just wasn’t it.

We tried this place a long time ago and just thought it was okay but all of our chef friends were saying this is one of the best restaurants in the city so we had to try it again and they were right! Incredible and unique menu with excellent drinks to match. The endive and the sticky rice were out of this world good. It’s definitely a vibe inside too.

If you’re looking for a classic multi-course experience with appetizer, bread, salad, and entrée — this one takes a different path. Not better, not less — just its own thing. The atmosphere is lively, the service excellent, the bartender and drinks outstanding, and the food creative, beautiful, and fun. We’ll definitely be back.

Peninsula is a true standout in Nashville’s dining scene—unique, inventive, and superbly delicious. More people should know about this gem, and they certainly will now that it’s been recognized by the Michelin Guide with a Bib Gourmand. The space is intimate and the exceptional service is attentive, and not overbearing. The ever-evolving, creative menu surprises and delights every palate, offering about 12 small plates that deliver quality and flavor. The chewy rice with lobster was exceptional, while the marzipan with potato and caviar ranks among the best bites you’ll ever have. Peninsula is an absolute must-visit—and if it continues on its current path, a Michelin Star feels inevitable. Congrats to the James Beard’s Best Chef and team!

We loved the food and the decor. We had a reservation at 9 so it was quite loud. Everything else was incredible. If you want a quiet atmosphere, go early and if you want an energetic party vibe. Go late. Either way the food will be impressive.

May have been one of the best meals that I ever been ever served. The subtle flavors including the unusual spices gave each dish an attraction that was totally irresistible. It is hard to imagine the level of thought and tasting that must have gone into each dish.

Peninsula exceeded my expectation. A perfect evening with friends! The dishes are incredibly creative and delicious. They delivered outstanding service. We enjoyed a very late dinner and they did not rush us. Absolutely deserving of a James Beard award. I will be back soon for another chewy rice, dill pollen, caviar, lobster and also that beet dish—- excellent, excellent !!

A fantastic "Culinary Adventure" that we enjoyed for a second time with friends. Ordered small plates of almost the entire menu. Everything was more savory and more surprisingly delightful than the previous serving. It was lovely, as was the service! We will definitely return!

WOOOOOW! Everything was incredible. The service and the ambiance was perfectly dim for a cozy intimate dinner with loved ones. The cocktails were top notch! The ingredients and the flavors were an experience that everyone should try. 20/10 recommend.! You won’t get through this dinner without being surprised with what you taste one your tongue.

The food and presentation were good. The portions are very small and overpriced for what you get. I left hungry and disappointed.

We had a great time at Peninsula! The food was unlike anything I've tried before. Very unique flavor combinations and textures. We had 6 plates in all, which was plenty for two people. Our service was also wonderful. The server, host, and food runner all collaborated to keep a seamless flow, which ensured each course was well paced. I also loved the size of the restaurant. It's fairly small and you can see into the kitchen, which was a fun experience! Definitely pricier and very different flavors so it's not your everyday spot, but it's fabulous for a special occasion or if you're looking for a new experience!

Went to dinner with high expectations and it fell flat with a loud restaurant and the food was not worth the price. The service was good but overall I was disappointed with my food and ambiance.
