The Play Dance Bar offers a breathtakingly amazing experience, with friendly greeters, skilled bartenders, talented DJs, and phenomenal performers. The atmosphere is not exclusionary, and the music and dancefloor ambiance are exceptional. The drag queens are absolutely amazing, though visitors are advised to stay with their group, as the location can be dangerous.
The outdoor area is cool, with lots of friendly people. The dance floor is most populated on Saturdays, and the music is mostly pop/gay anthems remixed with heavy, monotonous bpm and bumpy bass. The DJs can sometimes seem a bit low effort, but it's still enjoyable to dance to when you're wasted. The owner has been responsive in addressing any issues, and the overall experience is fun and vibrant, especially when there's a particularly energetic and creative DJ on the decks.
