Postino 12 South is a great little place in the busy 12 South neighborhood. It is a favorite wine spot with lots of wine options, decent bar options, and good non-alcoholic options, including mocktails like The Glow Up. The food is always amazing and delicious, with a unique and spectacular dining experience. Presentation is impeccable.
The bruschetta board is an absolute must and is great, with guests getting to pick four options like Brie, apple, and fig or burrata, bacon, arugula, and tomato. The happy hour of bottle and board is a great deal. Other popular items include the mushroom fondue, which is creamy and a little spicy, the panini platter, and panini sandwiches like the Nine Iron Panini and Italian Beef Dip on fresh ciabatta or focaccia bread. The soup of the moment, such as Chicken Florentine, and the Caesar salad are also excellent.
The service is what keeps people coming back, with some of the friendliest staff. The staff is welcoming, warm, personable, attentive, kind, and does an amazing job. They make experiences extra special. The restaurant is always busy, making it a great place to socialize with friends.
