Pupuseria "La Metapaneca"

Nolensville Road is blessed with an abundance of delicious pupusas, and La Metapaneca is a solid choice. Pupusas are made hot and fresh to order, and it's a friendly, family-run spot. I give a slight edge to La Bendición down the street, but La Metapaneca is also great.

Tired of boring, bland, frozen Mexican food geared for Americans? This place will be the remedy. This is the restaurant that truly makes you feel like you are not in America anymore toto, and I love it. When you walk in you can see the team of women making tortillas and pupusas in the back. Music playing, lights flickering, not a cockroach in sight. Delicious pupusas - best we've had in town. Quick service and they give you a container of slaw to go with the pupusas. I feel like we always need more slaw than what other restaurants give you so it was perfect to have a big jar to keep grabbing from. House sauces were delicious. Smaller restaurant that is clean and bathrooms kept up with. Great pricing. They take credit cards but better know a little Spanish because the billing/tip is in Spanish. We'll definitely be back!
