Hands down the best Salvadorean food we’ve had since we moved to the Midwest from Los Angeles. We ordered the empanadas which were amazing! Very good sized portions. We got pastelitos who just were made the authentic way, something done incorrectly a lot. Their pupusas were excellent. We got mixtas and frijol con queso. They were big and full of flavor. The star of the show for me was the sopa de patas. It was perfection! It had big pieces of tripe and perfectly cooked yucca....
Before I went to another restaurant, but there was a bad atmosphere, then I saw that they worshiped the misnamed Santa Muerte, so I looked for another restaurant and that's when I found out about a Salvadoran pupuseria, I really liked the food, the service, and especially the atmosphere. .
