Sakura Hermitage Reviews
It's been a while since we've ventured back to Sakura. Tonight was delicious food, decent service, but definitely still vote for some interior updating. I will take the food being better since last time!
I have eaten here for YEARS and the food is always great and compared to other hibachis the prices are decent. But recently I dined in and had the absolute worst experience ever and it was honestly embarrassing because I brought other people who have never dined there before. The food was terrible! Ordered Edamame, it was soggy. Hibachi was nasty, weird after taste. Allysa the waitress was great. The Manager Winnie was rude, degrading, and extremely unprofessional! We paid $113 dollars for the worst experience we ever had! Will Never Return! My recommendation is run to any other restaurant.
Sakura Hermitage offers delicious and fresh sushi, with some customers particularly praising the "sexy Laraine" roll. The service is generally pleasant, and food is delivered quickly. The restaurant can get busy, indicating the popularity of the food. However, there have been some complaints about the accuracy of orders and the use of imitation crab when real crab was promised. The sushi is fine, but isn't bad. The cost is fine, drinks are good, and service is great.
The restaurant has received mixed reviews recently. Some customers enjoyed the food and the overall atmosphere, including the "fire tricks" performed by the cook. However, others found the food to be bland and the hibachi show to be lacking. There have also been complaints about the greasy floor and the mandatory 18% gratuity added to checks.
