“This place is off the road, so hard to find. But this is a great place. They make everything fresh to order.I have tried almost everything they serve, all was incredible. This is a small family owned business, they are very respectful. Also the prices are not expensive at all. The amount of food you receive is really worth the time and wait. I would definitely recommend this place.“

“Excellent papusa! Several options available. Full menu of traditional Salvadoran dishes as well. Table service is nice with several booths. Prrices are great currently 3.50 for a papusa. Really glad we stopped in and will give them another visit soon.“

“Good pupusas. The highlight of this restaurant is that they sell real Salvadoran horchata; I haven’t quite been able to find horchata that tastes as authentic at other Salvadoran restaurants in Nashville. My Mexican friends liked it a lot and said it was better than Mexican horchata lol.“

“I been looking for some good authentic latin food… gave this spot a try. The pupusas here are fresh and delicious! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. I will be back for the breakfast plate (eggs not shown but were good) and pupusas. A little language barrier but everything was made as ordered and the take out service was good. VERY reasonable pricing as well. If you’ve never had a pupusa before, come here. Try the cheese and revuelta (pork and cheese)! Yum!“

“The service is fantastic and the food is as authentic as it gets. They don’t have to load their food with sodium to make it flavorful. The ingredients are fresh and it tastes home made. I LOVE bringing my family here.“
“Hidden gem spot right here. The mom and son running the spot were extremely courteous and helped me pick out my dish. This is a spot that only locals will know about. The corn tamales I ordered were absolutely amazing and the service was just as good. Beautiful place run by beautiful people.“

“Had the Pollo frito it was ok, if it would of been freshly cooked, instead, it was reheated. The pupusas was decent, but not like other places I've been. The service would be awesome, if the waitress would come back to check on you! The atmosphere is very clean and relaxing!“

“I thoroughly enjoyed the Salvadorian fare prepared for me at Pupuseria Salvadorena #2. The hostess was very welcoming and extremely helpful with all of my questions about the menu. Unfortunately, I couldn't order everything all at once so I decided on the Loroco con Queso, Revueltas, and Queso con Frijoles Pupusas, which was served with a spicy vinegar-based slaw. The hostess also suggested the pastelitos and empanadas. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the flavor combinations were chef's kiss! I will definitely return to try more.“

“Last night a group of four friends went to dinner at La Nueva Jerusalem 2. It was delicious, everything turned out perfect. The young woman who served us was very friendly and professional. My friends ordered tacos de asada, baleadas, and fried pastries. What a delight! My friend liked the Corn Atole, it had a very nice color. Everyone was happy. We now have to return another night to have dinner and order more from the great menu.“
