Had dinner there today and it was amazing! My server, Brandi, handled everything and ensured that we were well taken care of. . . We saw an altercation with what I was told is the shift lead, Kaisa(I believe that's how its spelled) and another team member and found that to be unacceptable, I believe that shift lead needs some training on professionalism in a public setting. That being said, the food and service was great! Will be back for sure.

Super happy w the house made veggie burger. Rarely do I order one and like it! Modified for sautéed onion and should have added mushrooms too. (Not thrilled w shredded iceberg)
Sweet potato fries were good even if the blue cheese dressing wasn’t my flavor. Tasted too sweet and more like ranch than blue cheese.
He liked the ribs and coleslaw. He’s not a coleslaw guy!
Service was excellent and the view was a lucky table looking out into the lake. Good came quickly at lunch.

This place is amazing and yes I am BIAS as its in my backyard and many of my friends and business associates frequent this location. Truly many of the movers and shakers of Nashville come here to enjoy a wonderful mean on the lake.

We had some time to explore the area around our Airbnb one afternoon during our visit to Nashville. We ended up at Sam's to sit and have a few drinks and relax. The wait staff and bartenders were friendly, personable and funny. It was a busy place, seemed like a local favorite for food. We did not eat but every plate we saw looked and smelled delicious. We definitely enjoyed the atmosphere.

The menu for this location is different from all other locations and when I looked online at this particular place, the menu had the wrong menu posted. I ordered the chicken tender basket, which is just tenders with a side of your choice. I asked for them to be tossed in buffalo sauce, and I thought they would come with celery sticks, but they didn’t and I had to add those to the side in addition to the side of fries that I wanted.

Advice just be sure when looking at the menu it’s the correct one. I came with the soul intention to get boneless wings, which they did not technically have.

The service was OK. I came during dinner time around 6 PM. The wait was pretty long. I ended up going to the bar area for open seating. Instead of potentially a 30 minute wait. The bar area was pretty noisy and they did let people vape inside which I was surprised about.

There wasn’t really a clean place to sit at the bar, but there was open seating so I had to wait for the bartender to come by and clean a spot. Again dinner time on a Saturday night I guess that may be expected.

We went to Sam’s Sports grill last evening at 4 pm with a party of 8. We were seated right away outdoors. Our waiter asked what we would like to drink, as we looked at the menus. After delivering the drinks, he walked away…. Never to return. He and two other employees were just talking away to each other. I finally walked up to them and said “ would one of you like to take our order. The waiter followed me over to take our order. They brought out our food and asked if we needed anything else…yes silverware and napkins! No one came by to see if we needed drink refills. Again I had to walk to the reception desk to ask if we could get refills. Our waiter was in another area talking to another worker and the reception person and another girl were looking at something on a phone. My husband’s fish was dripping in grease and my chicken “tenders” were not tenders at all but small cut up pieces with lots of fried batter. We will not be returning.

Asked to be sat inside waited 50 min to be sat on the patio. With a party boat unloading bumping the patio dock made sitting there unbearable.

The wait time was long, and it’s no wonder why, the food and service was great. We skipped the long line and sat at the bar. We had a good view of the ocean from where we were and there was also beach access from the restaurant. I had fish tacos that was mahi mahi and was fantastic. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone in the Destin area.

Have gone there quite often and never disappoints. You may have to wait some time for a table but it is worth it. Never expect very good food at a marina but this place is exceptional. I've been to their other locations but this one is the best. Hats off to angel, our server, who did a great job.
