Known for the best brisket in Nashville, they put as much effort into sides and dessert as they do the meat. The Hominy Green Chile Casserole is a must-try on weekends. The brisket has a bold, flavorful crust and is melt-in-your-mouth tender — not too fatty, just right. It’s considered the best brisket outside of Texas, even rivaling some favorites from Texas itself. The cheddar jalapeño sausage is the best ever, and everything from brisket to ribs and pulled pork is delicious. The restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere with friendly staff, and the owner, who serves the sandwiches himself, is humble and knows how to cook. Reasonably priced, it stands out among Nashville's food options. If you’re a BBQ fan, this is a must-visit spot for an impressive brisket and a great overall dining experience.
