Simply TERRIBLE!
Very disappointed with this experience
We ordered $75 to go. Got back to the hotel, no utensils or napkins.

Chicken Satay was almost like chicken jerky.

We asked for chicken and shrimp in our Tom Kah soup (extra charge), and both proteins were missing. we cut up the satay and added it to the soup. Also asked for it to be spicy, but there was no flavor at all.
Tiger tear salad was tolerable, but again, asked for spicy, and there was nothing

The only thing that wasn't messed up was the fried chicken egg rolls

Maybe it's better when dining in

This is the slowest place in town, if you order from here plan to be waiting, and they don't care

It wasn't what I expected. I expected delicious food prepared in the time I was told. It was none of that. It wasn't even the food I ordered! The orders coming out of the kitchen had no tags on them so with 3 orders on the counter in sealed bags was it a surprise I got someone else's food? In the order though was indeed an order of chicken pad Thai. The dumplings and lard na I had ordered were at someone else's house and I had overpayed for what was in my kitchen. The pad Thai had about 4 slices of chicken. Just noodles and chicken, nothing else. And underwhelming. The cashew fried rice with chicken was as typical as you could imagine getting from a bulletproof Chinese restaurant. Nothing special or exceptional. Utility food. Do yourself a favor and go to your favorite Thai place instead of trying a new place.

Food was amazing, well about service, let’s just say you seat yourself and my order came out correctly, don’t expect servers to be in uniform, my server had on a white t-shirt, joggers and sandals ! If you aren’t use to locally own environments and you are a more upscale person, this may not be your vibe, but hey if you want ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️authentic good food, this is the place. I looked on google around Nashville for several days for RED SNAPPER, similar to what I had in Peurto Rico and they nailed it. It comes on a bed of seasoned cabbage, broccoli, carrots and an in person meet and greet from the chef himself..?

I was highly disappointed that they do *not* take a look at the note when the order was made through uber eats. I ordered the fresh rolls asking to exclude cilantro if included because I cannot eat it and I received the rolls full of cilantro :) I tried to get rid of some myself but since they were literally too much, I eventually gave up eating the rolls.

Driving around after visiting Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, I kept finding steakhouses that were closed, so I eventually found Simply Thai. It was a quaint restaurant with about 10 tables inside. There wasn't much parking (and it was a little inclined.) The window AC blew hard enough to keep the interior cool. I had the H1 (pla pad phet - a lightly breaded and fried tilapia dish with a coconut curry sauce and friend wonton skins) and A11 (fried zucchini with a sweet and sour sauce). They were both good, and the price wasn't bad for Thai dinner dishes.

Parking: Not a ton of spaces in front (perhaps 8 cars can park). A little inclined next to the entrance.

We ordered Simply Thai off Doordash even though they don’t have the partnership, so we went and picked it up. We spent around $170 for 6 entrees, 6 appetizers, 2 boba tea and 2 Thai tea. Their menu has foods that my wife who grew up in a Laotian family said were uncommon in restaurants and sounded authentic. Absolutely the truth . Best Lao/Thai food we have had in years! It’s one of those where you pull up and the parking lot has potholes in it and the store itself wasn’t overly clean but the food was on point in every way. We are not “picky” but we order out a lot and have tried almost every Asian place in town to get a baseline of what’s good and what’s average and some that are pretty bad. This place hits at the top of they put out consistently. We had enough for lunch AND dinner AND leftovers the next day (bought before a big storm came through). Only thing they need to do is get that blue checkmark on DoorDash so we don’t have to pay extra for delivery but otherwise this is our new Thai place and I cant wait to order again!

If you get carry out be sure to double check your items. I’ve gotten the incorrect order nearly every time I’ve ordered. Food I received tonight was of poor quality.

I was going to be happy to eat here and enjoy some Chinese food (because the menu was pan Asian, not just Thai), until a COCKROACH walked across our table. ??? if there’s a roach in the dining room, then how many are in that kitchen?! ? do NOT eat here.

Dietary restrictions: Not great for dietary restrictions since staff doesn’t speak English well and it’s hard to tell if you’re actually getting allergen safe food…

The pad Thai we bought last night was so hot it was painful to eat. We didn’t eat it. It went in the trash. (3/4/24-order was beef pho, no meatballs, chicken pad Thai and spring rolls)
