Great selection and delicious food. All the pricing is reasonable especially because it is good quality. Our favorite sushi in the area. The atmosphere is nothing special, but the food is worth it!
Sonobana, formally known as Benkay, is my favorite restaurant in the world. 30 years ago, a few weeks after I was born, the first place my parents took me outside of home was Benkay. I have been going and eating here ever since. May it be a bias conceived in my upbringing eating at Sonobana, or something else, I believe Sonobana is one of the best restaurants in the world. If you asked Gordon Ramsey, he would probably tell you there are too many items on the menu at Sonobana....
Sachiko took great care of us. It was very busy but she made sure we always had everything we needed. We had the veggie spring rolls and beef gyoza to start. Both were incredible. The spring rolls had a perfect gentle crunch and the flavor was amazing as well. I had the Nashville Roll and Snow Crab Roll.
