Let me start by saying me and my wife love indian food. With that in mind, we wouldn't consider this indian food. This taste like indian food in the same manor as you would consider taco bell Mexican food. Yeah the ingredients are similar, and it's looks close, but when it comes to taste it leaves a lot to be desired. This is not to say the food tasted bad, just very little flavor and no where near authentic. My daughter cant handle any spice at all and had no problems with this food. If you cant handle spices or too much flavor, but still want to try some indian food, this will work. Want something more authentic, you will have to go somewhere else.

Don't see how this passes as Indian food. Tastes like a school cafeteria just winged it.
Portions are generous but this is not indian food! Lol! Ordered curry rice meal!

Got the dosa, had spoons full of oil. One of the oiliest most unappetizing dish I had ever had, not just that had to deal with an upset stomach the next day. Would not recommend at all.

The food was absolutely horrible. Ate here a few months ago and I ordered a chicken gravy, rice, paneer gravy, and a mango Lassi. The mango Lassi was pretty good but both gravies were rancid. Ended up getting food poisoning from this. Would not recommend

Disgusting. ? once I got my food I knew I made a mistake. It smelled rancid and tasted sour. No flavor everything was just bad. Huge waste of money.

Favorite Indian place in Nashville. The style is different and I can’t find it anywhere else. Those commenting on rude workers must expect nothing but smiles from people - may not be ‘southern hospitality’ but they are kind people

The food was great. The Mattar Paneer and the Garlic Chicken was better than I ever would have anticipated. The yellow rice and veggies went with it well. Everyone in my group tried and enjoyed it. I'll want more of this.

Tasty food and generous portions. $12 out of pocket gets you a meat curry and a veggie curry and a heap of savory rice. They didn't tack on a 3.5% credit card fee like so many other places.

This food makes me happy! It's rich and flavorful, kinda like the Indian version of classic soul food. I had the goat curry and vegetable curry. The goat is *very* tasty (I love goat), but to my surprise it was the vegetable curry that made me say "Mmm." It's takeaway only but it's in the Nashville Farmer's Market so there are plenty of tables inside the shared space, and the woman who served me was very kind. I visited after lunch rush & they were sold out out of samosas, so I guess that's an indication of how good they are. I will definitely be back when I can.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian curry is excellent!

It's not often that I try someplace new and leave knowing I will eat there again but I will definitely be putting Swagruha into my lunch rotation when I'm working in the office!
