I visited Sweet Milk in Nashville on September 29, 2025, and I have to say the first impression was wonderful. The restaurant has a beautifully designed interior with a cozy, welcoming ambience that makes you want to sit down and stay a while. I noticed they have both indoor and outdoor seating, which gives it a nice flexibility depending on your mood or the weather. It also seemed like a favorite among locals, which speaks to its reputation in the neighborhood.

Food great, service hit or miss and prices a little high. Was ignored for 15 minutes, finally got someone’s attention and they switched servers. New server was fantastic and the food so good we came back again two days later. Second visit the service was much better but it was crowded and loud. Food hit the spot and they have tasty gluten free options.

Love this Southern breakfast bowl. Absolutely great food. Eggs scrambled perfectly. I mean really scrambled eggs not folded. Grits perfect, with blisted pimento cheese (Really-That was Amazing). The fried chicken was awesome, done and crispy. Oh and the orange juice is fresh squeezed. 🙌🏼
I will definitely be back. Nice job Sweet milk.
