Swett's is about as down-home as it gets. It's meat-and-three style (though you can get as many of anything as you like) with a set menu of proteins and sides. I was impressed by the baked chicken; it has a ton of flavor and moisture and pulls right off the bone. None of the other food really wowed me. It's all perfectly fine, just not too exciting, but Swett's isn't really the kind of place to go for exciting food. It's a community staple frequented...
This restaurant has some of the best soul food I have ever eaten. It is definitely a place to visit. If you’re in Nashville, I will definitely be going again. Everything was delicious.
Popped in to Swetts for lunch with some friends. I’d never been. It was great. We got there right at opening and there was a line waiting for the doors to open. The wait wasn’t terrible and the food made it worth it.
