I come from San Antonio and this is not only the worst Mexican food in Nashville, but it’s the worst I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even eat half my breakfast. The eggs are like rubber, the potatoes are over fried hard rocks and the beans come straight out of the can. I have no idea how they have such a good rating or how this place stays open. Stay away

Excellent locally owned coffee and breakfast taco place. They also host live music events. A hidden gem. Try the “dirty horchata”

When I tell you, I dream about this place ..tacos are so delicious and the dulce de Leche latte is the best I’ve ever had in Nashville. I’ve become very picky with food and coffee!!!

I'm sure the coffee is fine, but calling canned refried beans, powdered eggs that Hilton would use, and potatoes (fry bits,) a Texas style breakfast is misleading at best... and an insult at worst.
Make better food. And don't make me wait 20 minutes for something I'd give to Salvation Army on a Sunday morning. Pick up the pace, Tempo.

Great coffee. Good food. The Texas scramble was almost too cheesy. Tortillas were fresh. Beans were great. I didn’t love the wooden fork, though. Weird texture.
All around good spot.

Amazing Nashville coffee shop. The Mexican vanilla latte and dirty horchata latte are delightful. All the tacos are packed with flavor and made with love. This is a business with soul and you won’t regret making the trip!

Very nice! Kinda has a coffee shop feel. Food is excellent, and authentic! Added bonus is the live performances that happen there! Stage is a cozy size! I look forward to performing there! The owners are awesome! Will be 1 of our new spots to chill!

Monday night Singsation is a chance to mingle with like minded people. Great gospel music.. We really enjoy our night out with friends and others who come out to also enjoy a night of music with a bit of food & coffee's.

We stopped in for coffee to go and were given a tour by the owner. He shared his vision for the place including plans to provide music, etc. I hope the community supports this new coffee/ice cream shop because we were impressed!

We stopped by Tempo Nashville on Nolensville Pike for breakfast/brunch and left super impressed! The food was absolutely delicious — we tried the bean and cheese quesadillas, the steak and egg tacos, and a few bites of everything because it was that good.
If you’re low-carb or have dietary restrictions, they’re super flexible — you can skip the tortillas and still get a generous, satisfying portion. Love that kind of service!
🌱 One thing that really stood out to me was how eco-friendly the place is. The plates, cutlery, even the vibe — all very sustainable and conscious. Wooden silverware, biodegradable everything. Small touches, big impact. 👏
🍴 Now for the honest part: we do NOT recommend the chips and queso. Definitely skip that one. But everything else? Chef’s kiss.
I brought my two kids — 8 and 13 — and they both enjoyed their meals (and that’s saying something). It’s casual, friendly, and quick, but still feels cool and local. We’re giving the food five stars, but the atmosphere lands at a strong four — cute and clean, but a little basic inside. Still, the staff was kind, and we’ll 100% be back.
Whether you’re hunting for breakfast tacos, brunch near Nolensville Pike, or just want good food with an eco-conscious twist, Tempo is worth the stop. ✅
