All the way from Cleveland Ohio I come to Nashville often for work.I just so happened to stumble across this place a few years back I visit every time I come to Nashville this is definitely my favorite food spot. The food is very delicious and flavorful. Now one bad thing I could say about this place is it’s only open 3 hrs a day that sucks.People schedules change all the time so unfortunately some people can’t visit this place often.

Just a good food joint. Nothing fancy but the food is fabulous. People are nice also. I had BBQ pork twice with turnip greens, cornbread and boiled potatoes all washed down by sweet Southern tea. My kind of place!

Parking: Unlike most spots not far from downtown Nashville, parking is plentiful and free. This restaurant is a gem and I hope they never sell out!

Good food & service prices was good all home cooked food cafeteria style set up dine in or plates to go Owner is even there as a server and to answer any questions. Various foods meets cooked on a grill like barbecue style smokehouse various flavors of sauces, which makes it really nice. You can get really hot. Mild at all if you like your side. All kinds of cakes, pudding, pies sitting in the dining room. You can have a two seater table of 10 if you need it. in and out parking lot very friendly country style atmosphere AXS off of Murfreesboro Road or Foster Avenue will check accessible. I know I was in one family atmosphere.

Vegetarian options: Tons and tons of vegetables

Dietary restrictions: All you need to do is ask that they will tell you what they have. You can see what they have. I got my sauces on the side.

Parking: There’s parking right next to the side of the building. There’s some right in front of the building when you’re parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small lift to get onto the porch area, but nothing that can’t be accomplished. The door is wide enough to get in and out and the line to get to the Food is wheelchair accessible chairs can be easily moved to accommodate a wheelchair.

Best brisket in Nashville. Some of the best southern cuisine I've ever had. Great people and places.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of greens. I.e. turnip, field, and collards. Baked beans. Salad, even cold macaroni Salads.

Dietary restrictions: Diabetic menu items available upon request

Parking: Big dirt parking lot

Kid-friendliness: Cool wall art like a TGI Friday's. Very cool memorabilia.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp in front and back.

I often seek out out-of-the-way BBQ joints while traveling, and Tex's BBQ stands out as the best I've found in the past ten years. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and the pulled pork was Juicy smoky goodness. The smoky aroma drew me in, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The "sweet/hot" sauce option was fantastic. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just passing through, Tex's is a must-visit. I know I'll be making it a regular stop on my travels. Highly recommended!

The food at Tex’s was absolutely delicious! I had variety including ribs, sausages, brisket, and pulled pork. The quality of both the food and the service exceeded my expectations. As a proud Texan with high standards for BBQ, this place definitely impressed me! I’m thankful for a coworker for recommending, and I plan to come back when I visit Nashville!
