advertised a vegan menu 5 months ago, but there are no vegan options - don’t be fooled and save the money on transportation <3

Great coffee shop experience. I didn’t try any of the food offerings, just coffee, and needed a place to stay for a while. After thoroughly searching Google Maps for a good spot, this has to be one of the better options. Nashville, in general, isn’t particularly known for its coffee shops.

There’s plenty of seating with plug-in options. The craft coffee was flavorful and smooth. I had their light roast. I really enjoyed the space itself, with wall-to-wall windows that make it bright and inviting, and a variety of comfortable seating.

It’s co-located with the restaurant and bar, The Goat, so it’s a nice place to transition from breakfast and coffee to brunch and a mimosa, which I saw someone do.

Visiting Nashville with a group of coworkers and we always seek out local coffee shops to frequent when in new places. I tried this place this morning since it had good reviews and was within walking distance of our hotel. I was very disappointed with The Morning Ritual because of their barista. I’ll never know if their drinks are any good.
At first upon entry, I thought wow this place is real cute and clean and will be a nice place for us to gather in the afternoon.

I placed my order and asked for my drink to be made extra hot because it was cold out, and I would be walking in the cold. She acknowledged the request and went to make my drink.
I ordered their special, which was the s’mores latte.
As soon as she started making my drink, a friend of hers walked in, and she started talking to her friend at the counter . She proceeded to speak to this friend the entire time she prepared my order.
When it came time to use the kitchen torch to caramelize the marshmallows she could not get it to completely work and eventually gave up so my marshmallows were not caramelized. (Not a huge deal breaker though it changes the flavor)
I walked out and took a sip of my drink, and it was lukewarm, not even close to the industry standard temperature let alone extra hot. I went back in and asked the other barista who had come out if they could heat it back up and she said they didn’t have any way to heat it so that they can only remake it. I did not have time for it to be remade so I took the drink lukewarm back to my hotel and heated it in my room.

The lack of follow through on the barista to make my drink as requested will make me not go back . The barista was more interested in chatting with her friend than making sure she prepared the order correctly. I wish I could remove the tip I had left for the drink.

You must ask yourself is it better to have a good product or good customer service . I believe there must be a balance of both, but unfortunately, with bad customer service you may never get a chance to show a customer a good product.

What a great little spot this is. Coty is the best! Absolute rockstar. Always has a great attitude, brings the energy. I don't even need an extra shot of esspresso. Her energy alone, gives me the morning boost I need to go along with my cold brew!

The Morning Ritual in Nashville, TN, is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and a friendly staff that clearly loves what they do. Their coffee is exceptional – you can taste the quality and care in each cup, whether you go for a classic espresso or one of their unique specialty drinks. The pastries and breakfast items are fresh and flavorful, making it a perfect spot to start your day. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, ideal for both catching up with friends or enjoying some quiet time alone. Highly recommended for anyone in Nashville looking for a top-notch coffee experience!

Amazing stopover in the Academy Square area of Nashville for a breakfast and coffee. The biscuits and java here are to die for. Incredible food and bevvies.

The space is well lit and clean. It's got a very hip vibe.

The only problem was that the staff was not really fully engaged. They gave my sandwich away twice...people just walked away with my food. So I ended up waiting 40 minutes for a single sandwich. I was almost late for my flight out. But they were sorry.

Still... 5 stars.

Not a stand alone coffee shop but a coffee outpost attached to the restaurant next door
