Bought a muffin to go and there is a chunk missing. The person who took my order was polite enough but other girl working was giggling. It could just be the way the muffin was formed but I don't plan to eat it so this was a waste of food and money.

There’s a lot of good things about this spot, nice decor, food is fresh and what they do, they do well. My BIG detractor is that even if you are dining in at one of their charming tables, your food is served on ALL throw away paper or plastic plates, bowls , cups and cutlery! I cannot fathom why they downgrade the experience like this, not to mention the massive amount of waste they create. So disappointing. I will not be coming back for this reason alone. Let me know if you ever switch to reusable cutlery and crockery and I’ll be back and bring friends.

True southern hospitality from the best ladies in Nashville

Love the food and staff here. And the fact that it's in the hood. But $26.45 for a tuna salad sandwich and a chicken salad sandwich (both to go) is beyond ridiculous at this point. I understand costs are up, but the cost here has to be around $5. Even if it were $10, we're talking crazy margin. Belle Meade premiums are a real thing.

If I could give six stars I would. The staff is beyond friendly. Just great people. And the food matches. Finally found a breakfast casserole as good as mine. We'll go back as often as possible.

Love the ambience, the blue and white color scheme is neat and relaxing. The chicken salad, soup, and fresh fruit hit the spot. It’s certainly worth stopping in for a relaxing meal!

I stopped in because my mom had an appointment in the area. I did not know anything about the restaurant and had no expectations. I just wanted a quick snack. I had the scoop of chicken salad with carrot sticks and crackers. I was so impressed and pleasantly surprised. My mom used to run a catering business and so I'm very familiar with The Puffy Muffin and other similar restaurants in the general area. In other words, I'm not easily impressed. In addition to the food being wonderful, the staff were noticably friendly and helpful. The restaurant and the bathroom were exceptionally clean and I had an all-around wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
