Fantastic deli in Nashville! Looking for a good sandwich and this place looked unique. It’s an old machine shop turned into a shopping center. They have coffee, gift shops, and other shopping. The Southern Engine Deli is awesome! I had a Reuben sandwich with a delicious tortilla soup. Highly recommend this place.

We were traveling through Nashville and wanted to grab a quick sandwich. On our way into town. I started researching and saw the reviews for this place. I am so glad I did. The food was fantastic and people who worked there were so nice and its location inside the cool building with museum, distilleries and shops, was an unexpected bonus.

We stopped here for lunch as part of the hop on/hop off trolley tour. What a great decision! I had the BEST grilled cheese and tomato bisque. My family had the reuben, grilled cheese with bacon (!), and chicken salad on a croissant. Everyone loved their food. The young lady at the counter was so nice and helpful. Please try this place if visiting Marathon Motors.
