We visited the Marathon Motor Works complex and wanted lunch. This place was convenient because it is located inside the complex. The counter staff were friendly and informative, and the food prices were very reasonable. My wife and I shared a turkey Rachel. I must say, the sandwich was quite good, lots of turkey and very flavorful.
We had the pleasure of stopping to eat lunch at the Southern Engine Deli in the historic Marathon Village section of Nashville. Already impressed with the area, we stopped in and ordered an Italian Sub and the Turkey Rachel sandwich. The product was so fresh and tasty, and so worth the value! We also enjoyed the industrial chic atmosphere. But that's not even the best part! We had the loveliest conversation with the owner, Lina, and left feeling such gratitude for meeting...
Best rueben in Nashville by far! I'm from Michigan and have missed a good rueben, look no further. The owners are so kind! This is a great little deli. They have sandwiches, soup, chips, and pop. I literally go to Marathon Works sometimes just to get their rueben.
