Hands down the best dinner I’ve ever had — and not just in Nashville, my best dinner ever. ⭐️
Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious and our server was amazing from start to finish. Definitely order the carbonara, creamed corn, and steak… unreal. I genuinely wish I took pictures, but I was too busy enjoying every single bite.
The ambiance was romantic, cozy, and just overall perfect. This is your sign to book the dinner reservation — you will not regret it.

This was an excellent intro to Nashville for our party. Every member in our party enjoyed what was served. The staff were attentive and very friendly. We throughly enjoyed our time at the Smith House.

Absolutely fantastic!! I am a rack of lamb freak and this was THE BEST I have ever had. My wife had house specialty filet and LIVED it ... and she's not a steak person usually. Fantastic value, incredible service.

The Lobster dip appetizer we shared but could have polished off two! The standard 8oz filet was perfectly cooked and the standard sauce was one-of-a kind. Fried green tomatoes were a little cold, average but the crab topping was nice. Cesar salad homemade croutons a bonus and loaded mashed potatoes a must. We devoured the peach cobbler.

Unfortunately, the experience here was no good. Made a reservation and arrived early but multiple other parties were seated ahead of us with later reservations. Food came out cold and 1 hour after ordering. Waitstaff was always in a hurry to leave the table. Only one bathroom available and it was messy with no hand towels or regular towels. Nice atmosphere but the service needs major work.

My overall experience was very good, but I felt the price point was just a bit high compared to similar experiences. However, prices could be comparable in the Nashville market, but I would not know that.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at The Standard at The Smith House, and it was easily the best dining experience we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was upscale yet welcoming, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. I had the camel tenderloin and my wife ordered the Standard filet — both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Every detail, from presentation to hospitality, reflected a true commitment to excellence. We left feeling celebrated and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.
I do not normally write reviews because I am a very go with the flow kind of person. I came to Nashville on vacation from Texas by myself. I have been to Nashville multiple times in the past. I saw the Standard online and wanted to check it out. The atmosphere is amazing! The food is pretty good not the best I have ever had but very well done. I did however find the service very slow. The servers themselves very nice very responsive! However, I was a party of one and it took 2 hours for me to complete my full meal. I did not take long to figure out what I wanted throughout the night. I do not know how busy the restaurant was in general but I feel like they could have gotten things accomplished faster. Again the place is great however the service is slow.

We had a fantastic evening at The Standard. Everything was wonderful from our cocktails, lobster dip, main course of rack of lamb and ribeye and finishing it off with a skillet cookie for dessert. Our server, Alan, was first class and we can't wait to go back.
