wow. What can I say about the wild cow? First off, it's good, but not great, but it is really good! I mean, I've eaten some vegan in my day, and when I can tell you is that this will leave you wanting more, if you know what I'm saying, hint, hint . And, I'm a straight guy, but a couple of those waiters are really attractive, that's all I'm saying! Anyway, it was good. The owner though? I can't tell if he/she/they/Xe are cool, or not, because I haven't met them !

Tried the French Quarter Dip and the Buffalo Grinder with Tofu. Both were excellent! Side veggies were really good too. Didn't care for the garlicky kale. Will be back!

Eating vegan has never been easier or as delicious. The food is flavorful with a large menu, the restaurant is cute with the nicest little patio, and staff are lovely! I’ve brought non-vegan friends and family and everyone is happy. I love the buffalo tempeh wrap, all the salads, and the lentils!!!
Always meh. I’ve been to the wild cow a handful of times since they opened their first location. I’ve never left feeling that satisfied quality wise. It’s kinda healthy I guess. Ingredients are general good quality but it’s usually not anything fancy or specialty. I think they just don’t know how to make good food. They were pretty much the only vegan game in town for a while. I think they built up a good reputation because enough vegans forgot what good restaurant food is supposed to taste like. I’ve been trying to add more vegan food into my diet again and hadn’t been out to eat in a while and was near by. I must have forgot my past experiences or kinda wanted to give it another chance because I want to support a local vegan business. Really disappointed in my choice. Same boring food and prices are higher. $4 for a topo Chico?!? I could go to the gas station literally down the street and get one for like $2. I got the Greek pita. Glad it’s not called a gyro because it does not taste like one other than the pita and olives. Tofu feta was crumbled tofu with some spices that just were not doing it. Several pieces of the seitan were burnt! Burnt seitan is basically burnt rubbery bread. Super bummed I decided to go, especially because there so many places nearby. If I wasn’t literally parked next to them I probably would’ve had gone somewhere else. Ugh.

Really good vegan restaurant that I'd recommend even to nonvegans! (I am not a vegan, but my friend took me here, and I LOVED IT). Their buffalo tofu and tempeh was so so good. Anything that has that added is a good meal.I also like the open concept of how they keep their garage door open and let the outside fresh air in.

Great vegan food served in a casual atmosphere. The service is top-notch, the vibe very welcoming. So good we went back for a second meal during our stay.

We went early for brunch on a Sunday. Lovely location, outdoor and indoor, friendly service and superb food. The Breakfast Burrito was such a treat - packed with tofu-cauliflower cheesy scramble, spinach, homefries, tomato and spinach as well as a choice of seitan chorizo, seitan bacon, tempeh or apple-fennel sausage. I went for the chorizo which had a kick but wasn't too hot (a selection of hot sauces is on hand if you do want more heat). My partner and I shared this (it comes handily cut in two) and also shared the classic pancakes which were light and fluffy. The restaurant has an open kitchen, relaxed decor with simple wooden tables and some booths along the window. It's generally a young vibe but the staff were v welcoming to us in our mid-50s! Highly recommended.
The food tastes so good and the menu has a lot of dishes to choose from. The seitan meat hoagie with a soup-like dipping sauce (I'd never seen that before, but it works!) was particularly good. The meals are a decent portion as they come with sides. Great cocktails and service too. Updated from previous review on 2023-10-16

All the food is so fresh and will really help your bowels move and our nation has a severe problem with being under fibered. Get here fast and enjoy!

We tried 4 different vegan restaurants during our stay in Nashville and this was our favorite by far. We started with Buffalo tempeh strips as an appetizer and it was the best tempeh recipe I’ve tried. The vegan ranch they served with it was so good I kept it to dip my sandwich in. I had the special of the day which was a chickpea salad patty melt and my partner had the French dip. Both were absolutely delectable. We also had a couple of delicious cocktails. The guy that waited on us was super friendly and chatted with us. If I’m ever in Nashville again this will be a must stop. After lunch there was several really cool boutique shops we shopped around in. Definitely recommend!

Could use some update on booth cushions and such; it’s been a while since we’ve been here and everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and chill. Artichoke dip,, blt, soup of the day, lentil stew, chickpea salad all exceeded expectation. *Chef’s kiss we ate the soup and appetizer before I thought to photograph it:)

We had the gyro and the French dip. Both were great and came with sides: potato salad and garlicky kale. The people are so nice!
Had food catered for a small birthday party. It was amazing, delicious half the people there did not even know they were eating vegan, what a surprise when they all exclaimed how delicious it all was. My favorite was the Turtle Track Cake it was crazy delicious. Thank you Ryan for making our gathering extra special.
