Always good food. I just pulverized a box of their gas station nachos. Destroyed it. It was so good. Annihilated those chips and everything on them.

I tried your carrot taco and sweet potato taco on Saturday and brought my tail right back on Sunday! It was so flavorful and I loved the amount of spice. Tortilla is definitely living up to the other reviews I read about. I can’t wait to try the corn next time. They are perfect and so fresh! Keep it up! I will definitely be back.

Pork tacos were on point. Juicy and flavorful. Good presentation and plenty I had 4 and a side of the street corn stuff.The corn was great not too heavy and again tasted great.Went for lunch did not have to wait at all.

An outstandingly unique and gourmet twist on tacos. Definitely an upgrade on expected mexican food. Trained chefs and owners Jeremy and Drew seek to offer a delicious dining product in a casual atmosphere.. give yourself a treat and go.

Best tacos I've had in as long as I can remember. I had the sampler box and shared sides of Mexican Street Corn and Masa Papas.The tacos were all amazing, even as a meat eater I have to say that the carrot taco and the sweet potato taco were something particularly special. Street Corn was fresh and tangy, and the Masa Papas were amazingly crispy and perfectly seasoned with salsa macha.Everything had a pleasing heat level that won't disappoint spice lovers nor overwhelm people with a more delicate palate. I would attach pictures, but I was too busy eating to remember to take any!

Grabbed Friday night dinner here with a friend. I ordered the sampler taco box which is a great deal. It includes one chicken, one pork one carrot and one sweet potato taco. Don't let the vegetable tacos fool you; the flavor is very rich in those and the meat tacos are moist and equally flavorful. The chef team at Tootsie's clearly loves and cares about the food they make and were very accommodating when I told them I had a nut allergy.Food was ready quickly and was very filling. The Mexican donut was light crunchy and had a lot of great citrus glaze. Also just downright pretty!I plan to come here again and try more things on the menu!

Tootsie is a Mexican food place, as a Mexican I'm really skeptical of any Mexican place here since almost everywhere I have been disappointed. When I read the menu it sounded like something out of the ordinary and I just didn't want to try it. I'm so glad I did. Their food is amazing, it's exactly what giving a twist to a style of food is supposed to be. I felt they really understood what a taco is. It was different yet it still reminded me of home. If you go order the 4 tacos sample, I still don't know which one was my favorite, both the carrot and the sweet potato were delicious, the masa papas are to die for and the buñuelos so good, also very different. Megan is one of the owners, she was super sweet and was interested in my comments. I have only good things to say.Give it a try you won't regret it.

Y’all… the sweet potato taco… just order a million of them. ? ? ? (I ordered the sampler, each taco was incredible, but the sweet potato was my favorite. They’re all so rich and filling.) Also super nice staff and great atmosphere! What a awesome idea for that abandoned garage!

The best tacos were the sweet potato and the carrot one. My son devoured them both! The service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely be coming back here for more tacos.

Love that they have multiple vegetarian taco options! The roasted carrot was my favourite. The Mexican street corn was refreshing and had a nice kick to it. Will definitely be back!

FANTASTIC tacos. It all starts will a well craft taco shell; and pair that with perfectly seasoned and cooked chicken, super fresh ingredients and amazing sauces. Great job Tootsie Lou's!!
