There was a view of part of the city from the windows (this is located on the 8th floor). There was live music which was nice, but it was so loud which made it difficult to hear unless you spoke directly into someone's ear. There were a number of things that were were not available from the menu (crossed out on the menus). The décor was modern and there is a patio for when the weather is contusive to outdoor dining. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant.
The rooftop is quite nice, but they were seriously understaffed (on a Wednesday evening). The bartender was very friendly but had to do double duty taking orders and serving food. The second bartender had never heard of Beefeater gin when I ordered a martini. The food was okay but nothing special, although the presentation was decent. Overall, not the worst but nothing I'd go back for either.
This location has potential. Will have amazing views when the construction is done around the place. Food needs some help. My “Steak Frites” came out rare. Options listed on the menu were not on the other sandwiches we ordered. My server was cool and very apologetic and she made it right. My crown and cokes were weak. I really wanted to like this place. If I was in town longer, I would try again.One thing I didn’t care for was having to put out a credit card to order dinner....
