Worked well for me. One of the best customer experiences I’ve had.

Great, old time restaurant. They open at 6a. You walk up to the counter and place your order. They bring it to you at your table. Great service and quick. The menu has pancakes, french toast, omelets, hash browns, biscuits, etc. The chili is supposed to be one of their famous dishes. Very good, Community coffee is served. Good size servings. Reasonable price.

I had a delicious egg biscuit for breakfast and learned a bit about the restaurant’s long history. I’ll definitely be back.

Food was great. Definitely would recommend the breakfast bowl. The bacon was fantastic. I would recommend.

Been going to Varillos for a while, the fellas that work there are the best and are super friendly. I cannot hype up the breakfast enough, like I’ve never tried anything else because of how much I’ve enjoyed their breakfast bowls and omelets.

Time travel to a diner from yesteryear. Great breakfast with very friendly staff. Apparently the chili pot is from a WW2 navy ship. Very cool

If you don't need all the glits and glamour, this is the place for you. Nice old school diner feel with good food at great prices.

By far best breakfast we had in Nash!
Skip all the fancy stuff and just give me a good meal anytime ! When you go, you have to try the gravy! Taste just like someone’s grandma made it . The price was very inexpensive as well. 3 big men ate and were off of $39 including drinks !

Really friendly service! Very clean and very affordable! I had the breakfast hasbrowns and a biscuit with a drink. Priced under $10 but a 10 star breakfast!

Great southern cookin.
This place is the oldest restaurant in Tennessee, best cup of coffee in Nashville and biscuits and gravy made from scratch daily.
We had the pleasure of being recommended to this cafe by a valet at our hotel.
Great price, quick walk from Hilton Tempo, very friendly service and everything from top to bottom was cooked perfectly for breakfast. Would love to try the chili next time since many locals were ordering that at 11am. Thanks for a great meal today!

We ordered food through Doordash . I have ordered breakfast from a lot of restaurants and I have to say, the combo breakfast from Varallos is by far the best. The eggs are always cooked perfectly, the hashbrowns are cooked just right, and the turkey bacon is the best I've had from any restaurant.

The food and value here is unmatched. This is an authentic old time eatery. No frills counter service, the staff is warm and welcoming and friendly, representative of southern hospitality. They are open limited hours but if you are in the area or don’t want to wait 30-45 minutes for an overpriced breakfast, this is a great spot for a convenient and delicious home cooked meal.
