Velvet Taco satisfied my need for tacos!
I appreciate how they have vegetarian options that are creative and delicious - if I have to eat one more mushroom or grilled veggie taco I will scream.
The Nashville Hot, Fried Cauliflower, and Paneer tacos are all delicious - my favorite was the cauliflower.
The nachos (sans brisket) are also tasty and I highly recommend adding guac - their guac is very good.

Had a good lunch at Velvet Taco in Assembly Food Hall. Got the mexi-Cali shrimp taco and the cauliflower taco that were good. The best item was the queso. It was quick, easy and a decent lunch. Not necessarily the most crowded spots in Assembly Food Hall but worth trying out if you haven’t before and are craving tacos.

Absolutely loved the vegetarian tacos, especially the Paneer one! Service was fantastic, and I was even more impressed that they did not overcharge when I asked for a side of rice and beans for my daughter. And then when my daughter wanted more rice, they just gave it to me. We were so touched that we had wanted to go back and leave a tip for a tip jar but when asked if they had one, they said no, that they appreciate it, but would just prefer that we give the tip to someone...
