Like all M Street restaurants the food and experience were top notch. There was a great selection of bourbon to choose from. We started out with a delicious spinach artichoke dip, which was a great shareable dish. We then split two pizzas, the Spicy Pepperoni and the Basil. They were both delicious but the Spicy Pepperoni was superior. My one suggestion is don't come here to watch a sports game, the tvs are very low quality and you can find a better place to catch a game. Overall great experience!

Whiskey Kitchen was the last on my M Street check list, and it did not disappoint! Their bourbon section was admirable (the Whiskey Smash was delicious) and pizza was great! The spicy pepperoni was SO good. Pesto pizza didn't have much flavor, but was still enjoyable. Will definitely be back!

This is the kind of place you want to just sit and enjoy an evening with friends or a casu date to where you get to shine in that cozy sundress/maxi dress and feel cute. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We had an awesome waitress that checked up on us. The drinks were great too. The blackened fish tacos were yummy and not over filling - just the right portion to a lighter dinner I was looking for. I really enjoyed the breeze coming through the windows, it was open. There were a good mix of pepple from different ages so I didn't feel out of place at my age (mid-40s). I would definitely come hang out next time I'm in Nashville.

Great food and drink place! Wait and bar staff are on it! Corporate owned food chain also owns MOTO, St. Anejo and a few others in that area. Does not offer a military discount. But really good food!

First time in Nashville and we went at look at murals close by and decided to stop in for drinks. We were there on a Tuesday and they have half off drinks. We ordered the whiskey smash and they were so good! We were there right after they opened at 4pm and had no problem getting a seat.

I had high hopes for this place for a date night with my husband, but it definitely did not live up to the hype. Only one server on a Saturday night so the wait time was very long but open tables were everywhere. The parking lot with signs for "Whiskey Kitchen Customers" was packed with cars full of people who were definitely not customers (aka: everyone walked past the doors, never saw them inside, and some even laughed about the signage). It was as hot inside as it was outside (96°F on the day we went). The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful; but the food was average. Probably won't be going back.

I will preface with this: it is, of course, possible that the week we were here they didn't have a prime shipment of ingredients, but with that in mind... we waited 20 minutes for our table; excited, expectant, and hopeful. However, those feelings were quickly summed up by one - underwhelmed. The old fashioned's and other cocktails tasted watered down, the Big Hoss burger lacked serious flavor and the rest of everything was dry, dry, dry. I got the bourbon teriyaki wings and despite being smothered in sauce (see photo) they were dry as could be. Cubans were also dry. I was told the tater tots were good, but didn't have any myself. If you're looking for good tater tots and a large whiskey selection you're looking to drink straight I'd recommend, the pizza also looked good from afar. Otherwise... I'd recommend Merchants on Broadway.

Would be a fine spot for a few drinks and an appetizer. I don't recommend it for dinner. It's not full service right now --- you order and pay from your phone. We had an M street gift card which complicated the process because the ordering system required a credit card. The very good server (who was responsible for the entire dining room!) very graciously helped us out. Loved her. The AC was out and it was hotter than hell. The buffalo wraps were good; the chicken tacos were just okay- wouldn't order again), the spinach dip was okay, and the pickle chips were great. I would return for pickle chips and a drink if I were with someone who wanted to go, but this was overall a very hot, underwhelming experience. Great spot if you like tourist people watching.

With the standards of the mstreet restaurants in mind, this visit was a HUGE disappointment. All the food was extremely mediocre at best... I don't mean to come off as harsh but my girlfriend and I were very excited to have some bar food from the business owners of Kayne Prime (a restaurant we know personally for its excellent service and food). While the staff and service was great and had no issues at all... the food was just... not! I ordered the cure burger which tasted VERY under seasoned and was EXTREMELY greasy. The egg on top was runny and lacking seasoning. The "candied bacon" was not candied and was dry like it had been left out and the bun was crushed as if it had just come out of a wrapper from a drive through. My girlfriend ordered the Hot Chicken Pizza which was fine overall besides the tomato's being a little sour... overall I was just very underwhelmed by the quality of the food and to say the least didn't feel moved to get boxes to go. If you're expecting quality food expected from the business owners of mstreet, it was NOT met. While we didn't order drinks and can't speak to that side of the restaurant, overall our meal was half finished and very upsetting... My girlfriend and I have reservations at Kayne next week and this definitely has set my expectations for the brand much lower overall... So... maybe just get drinks if you come!

Fantastic fish tacos with great topping options and apps for the table to start in a convenient location down in the Gulch

Super cool place and the Chicken & Waffle sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!

I dream about this Buffalo chicken pizza. Little did I know when I walked into whiskey kitchen that I would have a meal that I remembered for years to come! A casual, American bar with various bar food staples such as burgers, sandwiches, and pizzas. We started with the fried pickles which were deliciously done, perfectly crispy with a fresh cream ranch. For our meal we split the Buffalo chicken pizza and I am embarrassed to say I devoured the whole thing and contemplated ordering another one! Thin crust, crispy fried chicken tossed in hot sauce, crumbled blue cheese and thinly sliced celery = pure perfection.

We ended up sitting at the bar and had a great experience. Recommend hot chicken pizza and whiskey smash drink. Bartender was helpful and kind. Recommend for a semi-casual atmosphere for any occasion.

I never thought I would travel to Nashville, TN and fall in love with a buffalo chicken pizza....but I did! This pizza has absolutely everything you want in a pizza but also has the flavors of buffalo wings. From the crispy crust to the buttery buffalo sauce and the creamy blue cheese, there is absolutely nothing missing here! Not to mention this place fabulous drinks and a very extensive menu! I'm not going to say you have to go but if you're looking for a late night treat, this is your place!

May have been something in 2015 but in 2022 I found it to be dirty and offer a 5/10 whiskey selection. The whiskey selection was average at best, with numerous popular whiskeys being "sold out" but still advertised. I personally found this place to be equivalent to my local chicago neighborhood bar when it comes to whiskey selection, which is disappointing at best. The food was equal to that of my local bar as well, frozen and warmed to order. Nothing we ordered was fresh made on-site. The opportunity here is immense but this place fails to capture any of it. Clean the grime off your floors and table, offer food that's fresh, create a whiskey selection thats both available and memorable (you don't need hundreds), and also clean/repair your bathrooms. Seeing a hole in the ceiling and having sticky floors isn't a solid business decision.
