Calloway's Tennessee Kitchen offers a variety of delicious dishes, including chicken tenders, grilled chicken wraps, and massive burgers. The crinkle-cut fries are a popular choice, providing good flavor. Customers love the best burgers in town, cooked perfectly—not burned or raw—with just the right thickness. The food is made fresh to order and never frozen, tasting much better than big chain restaurants. The staff is very helpful, kind, and courteous, making sure diners have a pleasant experience. Many visitors enjoy breakfast here every week, praising the awesome food and super friendly service. The smash burger is a favorite among customers, described as just what is needed. While some reviews mention overdone chicken tenders and mistakes like missing salad, others highlight the huge, delicious chicken tenders and recommend the pimento cheese Mac n cheese. Despite a slightly higher price than typical fast food, many say it’s worth it for the quality and taste, often comparing it favorably to places like Checkers, Chick-fil-A, and Five Guys. Visitors from outside the area, including those traveling in RVs, frequently become obsessed with the food, calling it the best gas station restaurant they've eaten at in a long time.
