Out of limited options in Newport, this ended up being a reasonable dinner option. The food was fairly good and our server was very courteous and helpful. I only wish we didn't get seated in a booth next to a family with little kids where one of them was either jumping up/down and/or kicking the booth itself. But, that was a minor inconvenience.

On vacation from illinois- We had a wonderful experience thanks to our waitress, Carol! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. She checked on us just the right amount and had such a friendly, positive attitude. The food was also excellent. Had a great pizza and dessert! Between the great service and the delicious meal, this was a really enjoyable visit. We’ll definitely be back on vacation and hope to be served by Carol again! ❤

We and two 10 year old grandsons were tired from the day of vacationing in the area and 1. Didn't want to eat out again and 2. Didn't want to cook at our VRBO. So I called Portofino to see if they could half bake a couple of pizzas and to my surprise, they did! We finished baking them at the house and they were great!!! The pizza was wonderful, and we really appreciated their understanding.

Small stromboli was 2 meals, Greek salad with chicken was excellent. Garlic knots (12) for $10 were a meal by themselves. Large portions, reasonably priced, quality food. Pleasant atmosphere with an attentive waiter(Omar) and his hostess-busser were great. Can't go wrong with this establishment!
Dined here for the first time with family recently and can't wait to come back. Everything that was ordered by our party of 6 was great! The pasta sauces are what set the dishes apart from other similar establishments in my opinion. Service was friendly. The place was clean.

I go out of my way to support local restaurants. I spent almost $50 on this order and received this burnt bread. Disappointing. My efforts to support them were not appreciated. I'll think twice before ordering again.
