“We were a group of 20+ individuals in town for an event and everybody was very happy with their dining experience at Fire & Salt. Gabriel was fantastic to work with at time of booking, including when we had to make alterations to our reservation on two separate occasions. Brittany and Whitney, our wait staff, were quick, charming, and very personable people that made our whole group feel very welcome. Last but certainly not least, the cuisine and drinks were superb - excellent price for the amazing quality and presentation. Highly recommended to anybody local or coming in to visit from out of town!Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of space.“
“Standard American fair. Decent smoked prime rib, smoked wings, smoked pork and burgers. Not a huge fan of their bbq sauce. The Oak Ridge location in particular is right on the water in a beautiful spot. Additionally we always have very good service. A Great place to go for lunch after church on a sunny day.“
“While the dining room was full, we enjoyed our delicious lunch in such a delightfully pleasant atmosphere!I highly recommend the chicken soup & salad. My daughter's favorite is the chicken salad with bacon.Parking: Easy access & plenty of safe parking spaces.“
“A guaint and cozy environment with great good and excellent service. Usually busy around lunch, the Soup Kitchen is one of the top restuarants in Oak Ridge and the only place I make a habit of visiting at least once weekly.Vegetarian options: The vegetable soup is excellent especially with the Mexican cornbread.“
“Ordered 3-piece dark with mac&cheese and fries at a decent price. Chicken was warm, had heavy breading and tasted good. Mac&cheese was tasty right out of the barrel. Their fries are such that they don’t stay hot for very long. Mine were warm when served but, cooled on the way home to eat.“
“Colonel Sanders might as well stay out of Knox. This is some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. I got the 3 piece dark with fries and mac and cheese. The chicken is juicy with a crispy, super well seasoned breading. the breading does have a little kick, but nothing to make the brow sweat. The mac and cheese sent my brain back to my grandmas house as a kid and the fries were well seasoned and crispy. Customer service was…*chef’s kiss*. I will be sending all of my guests from my hotel to this lovely local spot. ??“
“What a great find for lunch! We were wanting something different and not knowing a lot about Osk Ridge, this popped up on a search. We had our food in 5-6 minutes. The homemade desserts are worth every penny. The service was "old fashioned". Well worth the drive.“
