“My wife and I visited for dinner while in TN and were very impressed with The Appalachian! Both of our meals were exceptional, and the service was great as well.“

“Oftentimes, I dont know what to rate atmosphere but this one deserves a high rating. First off there's birds! But it actually feels like a farmhouse and the different seating rooms all have a slightly different feel to them. The service is reliable, and then the food. They give you the Julep and fritters with your meal included in the price and they hook you before your meal gets there. Im local but still look forward to each time I go. Everything is fresh tasting and you can tell they put a little effort into it.“

“Amazing to think it's right in Pigeon Forge. Great restaurant with tons of food. I recommend splitting a meal. You get three unlimited sides for the table and everyone gets dessert. You also get apple fritter ball appetizers and apple juliard. Very pretty house you eat in and there is a cider/winery, bakery, ice cream shop, and general store with all sorts of apple related products.“

“The food was very good! We eat 2 evenings in a row. The only complaints the baked potato’s were not very hot and the server’s could be more attentive to if you need a refill. 😊“

“Traditional Southern food. Everything is fried which is good for the tastebuds and the soul. I got the chicken liver. It was hot, fresh, and a large portion. On the other side, don’t get the Mac and Cheese: it is made with h fake cheese and is greasy.“

“OMG. we shared a sampler platter. For starters we were served a cast iron pan of cornbread with butter The sampler platter had meatloaf , pulled pork, greens and mashed potatoes. it came with a bowl of Brunswick stew and a side bowl of pinto beans. It was amazing. So much food for the value. We both left stuffed. The server was friendly and very attentive. I would highly recommend this stop while in DW. you won't be disappointed.“

“Stopped in for breakfast/lunch at this fun little spot, and the standout feature was definitely the animatronic chickens. They were quirky, unexpected, and honestly pretty entertaining to watch. I just wish the show lasted a bit longer—they were neat, but over before you really got to enjoy them.
As for the food, it was… fine. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing, just not something I’d rave about. The experience itself was more memorable than the meal.
Still, the place has charm, and the chicken theme alone makes it worth checking out at least once. If you’re looking for something unique and a little offbeat, it’s a fun stop.“

“The food was very good, but I can’t believe that u should have your dog set on a chair and then let it eat off the table, I love dogs and cats, but there’s a cut off point at some time.“

“Every cheddar pretty much seems the same Aesthetics wise honestly I was prepared not to enjoy this meal because the whole week that we have been here we have been trying places near the cabin and they turned out horrible but Cheddar's actually exceeded my expectations my steak was well done which was a bummer, I did as for medium wel so it was pretty dry. My margarita was a little water down. My server definitely forgot about my drink by the time she bought it full of condensation. Family of 4 we paid $104 before tipping. My server was new so will give her grace she definitely gave 110 percent.“

“TikTok fully influenced me and it was 100% worth it. English Mountain Trout is such a fun little Smoky Mountain/Sevierville stop like lowkey touristy in the cutest way. It’s cash only (but they have an ATM on site), tons of seating, and super family-friendly. Parking is a little tight, so we parked down the road on the grass and it was totally fine. The best part: it’s perfect for kids who want to go fishing, but you don’t want to commit to an all-day lake situation where everyone gets bored after 20 minutes. It’s quick you catch the fish and they’ll grill or fry it for you right after. We did grilled trout and tried lemon pepper and black pepper… and both were delish like genuinely. Plus the cutest little photo op holding your fish before they cook it. Core memory vibes, would absolutely do it again.“
