“Boy this was a great meal. The vegetable soup was loaded with all kinds of vegetables. The fried chicken was perfect. Hot juicy. The coating stayed on and good flavor. Chicken pot pie was good with a flaky crust I cut my country fried steak with a fork. Mashed potatoes and gravy was great. Green beans flavorful. The broccoli and stratus soup was creamy and good. Sweet tea good , Julie was a great waitress“

“Rose was our server today amd she was very sweet and took very good care of us. We were a table of 4. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the country plates that included southern fried chicken, the sampler platter, chicken liver and the chicken strip dinner. Our side were family style, meaning shareable. We got green beans, collard greens, mashed potatoes, fried okra and were all good, but perhaps the collard greens was bit too salty, but all very good portions with left overs to take home. My personal favorite are the apple fritters & the apple julup juice, yum! We were served quickly, everything was fresh. The silverware and plates were clean and the table was clean. The hostess was inviting. This isna goos place to shop afterwards with a country store and pie shop and a Christmas shop on the property. Plenty of parking.“

“Warm, welcoming restaurant. Southern comfort food that warms the soul. I love the chicken & dumplings. Hubby enjoyed the pot roast. Jose, our servers was very friendly and provided great service. Tyler the manager was wonderful to speak with & very supportive of his crew. These type of meals & interactions are why we love Tennessee so much.“

“The food was very good! We eat 2 evenings in a row. The only complaints the baked potato’s were not very hot and the server’s could be more attentive to if you need a refill. 😊“

“Anne was the highlight of our trip. We encountered some rude people on our visit, Anne just made everything better with her smile and kindness. “OMG. we shared a sampler platter. For starters we were served a cast iron pan of cornbread with butter The sampler platter had meatloaf , pulled pork, greens and mashed potatoes. it came with a bowl of Brunswick stew and a side bowl of pinto beans. It was amazing. So much food for the value. We both left stuffed. The server was friendly and very attentive. I would highly recommend this stop while in DW. you won't be disappointed.“

“Everything was amazing. Server was great with a friendly attitude, very informative. Food was prepared quickly and as ordered. The only complaint I could possibly think of would be that the 8oz steak had a portion that was very tough but the rest was amazing and without a doubt I will be returning soon“

“TikTok fully influenced me and it was 100% worth it. English Mountain Trout is such a fun little Smoky Mountain/Sevierville stop like lowkey touristy in the cutest way. It’s cash only (but they have an ATM on site), tons of seating, and super family-friendly. Parking is a little tight, so we parked down the road on the grass and it was totally fine. The best part: it’s perfect for kids who want to go fishing, but you don’t want to commit to an all-day lake situation where everyone gets bored after 20 minutes. It’s quick you catch the fish and they’ll grill or fry it for you right after. We did grilled trout and tried lemon pepper and black pepper… and both were delish like genuinely. Plus the cutest little photo op holding your fish before they cook it. Core memory vibes, would absolutely do it again.“
