“I've lived a 10 minute walk from this place for years, since back when it was the Pure. Back when the food came from that truck. Everything about this place is awesome. From the new ownership of the business, to the absolutely incredible food. It's unassuming, but if you ever find yourself in or driving through hermitage, this is the best spot in town.“

“New Taco Bell in Old Hickory. It is usually very good. Sometimes I've had not so great service at the drive thru window but mostly smiling faces. Was better when it first opened, but I understand why they wouldn't always be so chipper. So I don't think much of it. Food is always hot and fresh.“

“We are at BarTaco Nashville in 12South and while I’ve been there many many times, tonight was my husbands first time. He has a lemon&lime allergy. When we alerted the waiter of this to make sure we weren’t ordering something with them in it, he confirmed a couple items we planned to order would need to be mine since they had lime. Then 2 separate managers came to our table to double check the allergy and need. Primarily to confirm tacos ordered where some ingredients also had lime. They were so attentive and made sure that his food came out on a separate plate with no lime or lime garnish. So incredibly impressive how much they cared his experience was healthy and positive. Much thanks to the staff at 12South for superb customer service and care!!“

Was not a major fast food chain, their East truck happened to be close to where we were attending, offers low prices, and delicious food! After experiencing I’d note there’s also easy parking, a welcoming environment, fresh ingredients; I had carne asada fries and two chorizo tacos. 100 out of 10 would recommend.“

I got their cop salad bowl and oh my God between the pickled cabbage, blue cheese, avocado, kale, delicious, tender pork that served with it it’s a delight. It left me, full and healthy . Highly recommend for a healthy quick meal that doesn’t break the bank!!

I appreciate how they have vegetarian options that are creative and delicious - if I have to eat one more mushroom or grilled veggie taco I will scream.
The Nashville Hot, Fried Cauliflower, and Paneer tacos are all delicious - my favorite was the cauliflower.
The nachos (sans brisket) are also tasty and I highly recommend adding guac - their guac is very good.
For 5 tacos, nachos, and elotes we spent less than $50 for a full dinner for 2. The food came out fast and you can take it to your desired seating within the food hall and enjoy.“

“Very cool place with delicious food and friendly, helpful staff inside Nashville's Assembly Food Hall. In the multi story food hall, you can get gourmet grilled cheese, poke bowl, pizza, drinks and desserts... but the outstanding favorite for me is the delicious Chilangos!
Several varieties of tacos on the menu, and quesadillas with different meats or veggies, but you can't go wrong with los nachos! A heaping pile of tortilla chips layered with cheese sauce, verde salsa, pico de gallo, and your choice of meat. It is very filling and flavorful, with a medium degree of heat from the diced jalapeños in the mix.
Very friendly people delivering fast service. Even with a consistent line of people, I think my meal took 5 minutes or less to arrive. Also the Food Hall is an enjoyable environment to find seating inside or outside, in a quiet spot or in the midst of people mingling and visiting. The Assembly Hall offers a convenient spot for a variety of food choices, even if one person in your group loves Mexican food, like I do, and someone else wants to try authentic pizza, or an Asian meal, etc. An enclosed seating area with plenty of fresh air and a team of hardworking staff do a thorough job keeping the place clean!

“It is located inside the gas station. When you walk in, you want to go to the left. Now you have your cashier in front, and to the right, you'll have the options yo get snacks and drinks like any other gas station. If you want a hot meal. They do have, but if you want a little more for your money, I do recommend eating here. The prices are good and the food will put a smile on your face.“

The tacos were so good that I made it a point to visit again before leaving. I was able to try all (4) tacos over the course of two visits. The Asada were my absolute fave, especially when adding a little of that homemade green sauce on top.

Having traveled and lived in many states across the US, it was a pleasant surprise to find a vegan taco shop that reminded me a bit of my SoCal roots.

While my research for restaurants in Nashville were primarily focused on vegan options and proximity to the conference site, I was delighted to partake in the unexpected atmosphere of this Farmers' Market. Between the great food, eclectic selection of venders, and eco-friendly set up, this Farmers' Market was a big highlight of my trip. I would highly recommend to other traveling professionals, especially if you are attempting to grab a bite with others who have different dietary preferences.

It was also a huge bonus that the Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park was right outside.

“Absolute the best taco truck in Nashville. 5 Stars for Food Quality, Menu Creativity, and Authenticity. I am addicted to the Barbacoa Tacos, add Avocado, with a side of Consommé. My most recent trip, I was encouraged cheerfully by the sweet cashier to branch out & chose Fish Tacos instead. OMG!!! They are super incredible. Definitely get the slaw. Also… I finally tried the Fried Bananas- absolutely incredible! I grew up eating Cuban fried plantains in Florida. These are very different than those. They have sour cream, queso fresco, and are carmelized to perfection: I can’t wait to try the Breakfast menu. I believe they serve it all day… ALSO! Do not miss out on homemade Agua Frescas. My absolute favorite is the Tamarind, it paired so well with the fish. Their Horchata and Jamaica are equally delicious. They have a really cozy covered little seating area outside of the gas station. This family owned business is so friendly, and talented. They let me sit at the back table by the big fan last time I ate there! There’s a creek right behind there and it’s a very peaceful little picnic hang. Taqueria La Jarochita is a Nashville gem… enjoy a waterside outing to Hermitage at Tulip Grove, just as you hit Mt. Juliet on Old Lebanon Pike! And stop for tacos while you’re out that way.“

“If you're looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, don't miss Taqueria Vallarta in Hermitage, TN. The food is authentic and has not been modified to the American pallet. What I mean is that they don't add all the unnecessary sauces and sugar to cater to the U.S. pallet. This is authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is small and local. They have a small A/C unit in the window while the fan blades slowly spin. It was a little hot in the restaurant but you're not there to keep cool. You're there because you want to satisfy your hunger for real Mexican food. This place delivers with reasonable prices.“
