“I've lived a 10 minute walk from this place for years, since back when it was the Pure. Back when the food came from that truck. Everything about this place is awesome. From the new ownership of the business, to the absolutely incredible food. It's unassuming, but if you ever find yourself in or driving through hermitage, this is the best spot in town.“

95% of the time, my order is perfect!
That other 5% there are things missing: food, napkins, utensils, sauces etc. I usually go thru the drive thru - when this happens ill run inside and grab napkins or sauces or utensils.
The other day I got home and noticed a few things missing. I called the store and the manager was pretty great. Told me to take down his name(unique name) and he would tell his employees to compensate me next time I came. A day later, made a mobile order, get to the drive thru, tell them what happened and the lady said oh ya, I'll put that in the bag for you.“

“I'm a first time customer here! They exceeded my expectations! They are a skip and a hop from the Tennessee Titans Stadium. My old food truck I use to visit is out of my current area so I've been looking for a new Taco Truck spot!

The main things that I always buy are the street tacos and the steak & chicken burritos! I have to admit that this being my first time here, I can legit say that the food is better here! Their rice was extremely tasty and fresh. I don't know what sauces and marinades they are using, but that adds to the taste!

Although it was only my first time visiting, I have to say that I highly recommend.“

“Boyfriend and I came to Nashville for the first time for an airsoft tournament and only had the day, so this place checked all the boxes when it came to deciding what to eat and make the best of it. Was not a major fast food chain, their East truck happened to be close to where we were attending, offers low prices, and delicious food! After experiencing I’d note there’s also easy parking, a welcoming environment, fresh ingredients; I had carne asada fries and two chorizo tacos. 100 out of 10 would recommend.“

“New Mexican restaurant in the "12 South" area of Nashville, TN. Beautiful restaurant, with live Mexican music and singers.. I ordered something different, the Duck Mole', and I was surprised when my plate came out, it had a fairly large mound covered in what appeared to be Hershey's Chocolate Syrup, it looked like a "desert". But, as I cut into it I noticed the duck, and the dark brown sauce was not chocolate sauce, but rather the Mole'. It was definitely different, but delicious, and I ate it all Really glad I tried this dish!! And, did I mention the authentic Mexican singers were a nice (and fun) touch!! It's a very nice place!!“

“Pretty good first time experience. Chips were tasty, and most of the salsa were really good (their salsa rojo was average, while the other two were great). Tacos (tried the hot chicken, beef, shrimp, and standard chicken) very quite good, but I think cost a little more than they're worth. Staff was a highlight: very polite and interactive! Overall, not bad and would recommend trying! 8/10

“We were looking for something different for our wedding here in Tennessee and what came to mine was Tennessee moonshine. We went Over to old Smoky and they let us test out every single moonshine and pick out many flavors to host at our wedding. All the staff was extremely friendly. All the flavors were really good and it was a large hit at our wedding.“

Jeff walked us through everything and we made our picks. I got a pollo verde taco that was phenomenal. The tomatillo infused chicken and pickled white onion was so flavorful. A seriously good taco. I also got a pollo rojo which has enchilada glazed chicken, black beans and pickled red onion. Another flavor profile stand out taco. These are smaller street tacos on amazing corn tortillas. Eating three or four wouldn't be a problem at all. I also got an order of black beans. These beer braised black beans sprinkled in queso fresco come in a cast iron skillet. These are the best beans I've ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant. The flavor is rich and hearty with delicious queso fresco. I washed everything down with a cold Modelo Negra. It doesn't get any better than that. I can't recommend this place enough! I will be back in June on buisness and this will be my first stop. Truly creative Mexican cuisine at it's best.“

“The best tortas I've had outside of Mexico City! I've been there four times and I've tried, like, seven different tortas. They're all good, but the Toluqueña is the best. It's got milanesa, chorizo, and quesillo, as well the other standard torta ingredients. The tortas are even better with rajas and salsa. You have to ask for these though. The guys are super friendly too. Don't be fooled by some of the negative reviews, they're mostly from several years ago!“
