“I've lived a 10 minute walk from this place for years, since back when it was the Pure. Back when the food came from that truck. Everything about this place is awesome. From the new ownership of the business, to the absolutely incredible food. It's unassuming, but if you ever find yourself in or driving through hermitage, this is the best spot in town.“

“We are at BarTaco Nashville in 12South and while I’ve been there many many times, tonight was my husbands first time. He has a lemon&lime allergy. When we alerted the waiter of this to make sure we weren’t ordering something with them in it, he confirmed a couple items we planned to order would need to be mine since they had lime. Then 2 separate managers came to our table to double check the allergy and need. Primarily to confirm tacos ordered where some ingredients also had lime. They were so attentive and made sure that his food came out on a separate plate with no lime or lime garnish. So incredibly impressive how much they cared his experience was healthy and positive. When it comes to the food, Mas Tacos Por Favor punches far above its weight. The carne molina taco is, without question, the best taco I’ve had anywhere—rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The soups are equally impressive, slow-simmered and packed with comforting depth, and the black beans are outstanding, the kind of side dish you’ll keep thinking about long after the meal. Was not a major fast food chain, their East truck happened to be close to where we were attending, offers low prices, and delicious food! I appreciate how they have vegetarian options that are creative and delicious - if I have to eat one more mushroom or grilled veggie taco I will scream.
The Nashville Hot, Fried Cauliflower, and Paneer tacos are all delicious - my favorite was the cauliflower.
The nachos (sans brisket) are also tasty and I highly recommend adding guac - their guac is very good.
For 5 tacos, nachos, and elotes we spent less than $50 for a full dinner for 2. The food came out fast and you can take it to your desired seating within the food hall and enjoy.“

“Very cool place with delicious food and friendly, helpful staff inside Nashville's Assembly Food Hall. In the multi story food hall, you can get gourmet grilled cheese, poke bowl, pizza, drinks and desserts... but the outstanding favorite for me is the delicious Chilangos!
Several varieties of tacos on the menu, and quesadillas with different meats or veggies, but you can't go wrong with los nachos! A heaping pile of tortilla chips layered with cheese sauce, verde salsa, pico de gallo, and your choice of meat. It is very filling and flavorful, with a medium degree of heat from the diced jalapeños in the mix.
Very friendly people delivering fast service. Even with a consistent line of people, I think my meal took 5 minutes or less to arrive. Also the Food Hall is an enjoyable environment to find seating inside or outside, in a quiet spot or in the midst of people mingling and visiting. The Assembly Hall offers a convenient spot for a variety of food choices, even if one person in your group loves Mexican food, like I do, and someone else wants to try authentic pizza, or an Asian meal, etc. An enclosed seating area with plenty of fresh air and a team of hardworking staff do a thorough job keeping the place clean!

“The Bajo bowl salad was Elite. So much energy. The Queso was emotionally supportive. I had to walk through a hunting trade show so I needed all the help I could get. Now you have your cashier in front, and to the right, you'll have the options yo get snacks and drinks like any other gas station. If you want a hot meal. They do have, but if you want a little more for your money, I do recommend eating here. The prices are good and the food will put a smile on your face.“

“We didn't plan on visiting Ole Smoky, but it was on our way from dinner to the hotel. They have a bar on one side and a gift shop/tasting area on the other. We went in curious and ended up spending way more than intended - which is their motif operandi.
We got talked into a moonshine tasting by an employee, met some people celebrating a birthday, and left, two hours later, with three jars of moonshine and half a dozen gifts.
Overall fun, but can get expensive. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, that's not why people visit.“

“If you're looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, don't miss Taqueria Vallarta in Hermitage, TN. The food is authentic and has not been modified to the American pallet. What I mean is that they don't add all the unnecessary sauces and sugar to cater to the U.S. pallet. This is authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is small and local. They have a small A/C unit in the window while the fan blades slowly spin. It was a little hot in the restaurant but you're not there to keep cool. You're there because you want to satisfy your hunger for real Mexican food. This place delivers with reasonable prices.“

I tried the pambazo sandwich for the first time, definitely recommend. I just had to warm it in the air fryer for a bit since the bottom was soggy by the time it got to me. Tacos dorados and taco de barbacoa on point. Will definitely be a go to place for me.“
