Simply Southern Cafe is a hidden gem that is worth the search. The staff and locals are delightful, and the food is top-notch, with very generous portions. The green beans are a standout dish, and the apple pie served warm with ice cream is fabulous. The menu offers a variety of southern comfort food options, including a delicious cheeseburger, country fried steak, and real mashed potatoes. The sweet tea is also highly recommended. The restaurant is family-run, creating a welcoming atmosphere that is a must-visit. The food was amazing, super good feel good place, basically a house made into a restaurant, an intimate setting, like eating at Grandma's house. Everything made from scratch, green beans were awesome, mac and cheese was awesome. The wait staff are willing to give advice. Despite one reviewer having a disappointing experience with the catfish meal, the owners have shown willingness to address feedback and improve.
