Sweet baby rays bbq sauce but had the best fresh fries, beans, pork, and even a surprise little cookie! . Good quick bbq. But what shined even more were the staff! Every single one was so nice. The ladies who took my order, the cooks in the back, and the ladies at the gift shop. I’ve been twice in two days and I’d say I met six different staff.. loved them all. I’ll be coming all the time now that I know this is here.
I’ve seen the billboard for Brushy Mountain for years and had been wanting to go. We finally went this summer and were not disappointed. I thought I’d be the only one in my family that would enjoy it, but was pleasantly surprised. My husband and son loved it! They still talk about it now and can’t wait to go back. And if you have time, definitely get your lunch or supper at the Warden’s Table restaurant. It was great!

First time in this area. I only picked this restaurant because of a tik tok post I saw. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food. I talked to the workers there a few minutes, extremely nice. When we venture back into this area this definitely will be on our return list. We rode The Devils Triangle on our motorcycles. The amount of switchbacks was awesome, a much better twisting road than I expected. So ride that road, then plan your meal here.

The Warden's Table offers a welcoming space for large groups, serving delicious BBQ, burgers, and fried pickles, as well as great nachos. The food is excellent, and the service is very friendly. While food delivery may take some time, the pulled pork and plentiful sides make it worthwhile. Many guests have enjoyed the Brisket Dip Sandwich, Ham and Swiss Sandwich, and the Pulled Pork Nachos, along with the tasty Criminal Caviar. Prices are reasonable, and the tables are clean. The restaurant is located at the Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary site, making it a unique dining experience where visitors can eat behind bars. The atmosphere is fun, with dining divided by steel bars, making it a cool place for families. Guests have praised the watermelon, the clean and well-decorated environment, and the great service, though some have noted concerns about the food preparation area.
